Chapter 186 Harry Wakes Up

"Where is this?" Harry slowly opened his eyes, with a trace of confusion still in his eyes.

He tried hard to adapt to the surrounding light, and when his vision gradually became clear, he found that he was in the principal's office.

The surroundings were eerily quiet. Harry moved slightly, and it seemed that the slight movement disturbed the portrait on the wall.

The characters in the portrait all turned their eyes to Harry, with a hint of fear in their eyes, as if they had seen some terrible monster.

Then they hurriedly left their photo frames, as if staying for another second would be dangerous.

As the people in the portraits left one after another, the principal's office became increasingly quiet, so quiet that only snoring could be heard, and that snoring seemed particularly abrupt in the silence.

Harry shook his aching head vigorously, trying to relieve the annoying swelling pain, but it had little effect and his head still ached slightly.

However, he was now full of doubts about what he had done before, and always felt as if he had done something extraordinary.

Harry tried to recall, vaguely, he seemed to remember that after Ron went out, he got dressed and wanted to go out for a walk. Then...his mind was like a projector, the picture gradually became clear.

He remembered walking while thinking about the Chamber of Secrets and why he could speak Parseltongue.

He was seen by other passers-by on the way, who pointed at him, so he walked towards a deserted aisle, where he found Sir Nicholas and Justin who were petrified.

Afterwards, he was surrounded by a lot of people, and then...his memory seemed to be shrouded in a fog, and he could not remember it at all. He only remembered that he seemed to be pinned to the ground by Draco and Ron, and then he lost consciousness.

Harry had a voice in his mind that kept telling him that he must have done something extraordinary, but no matter how hard he tried, he just couldn't remember it. Moreover, the quiet atmosphere made him a little uneasy.

He looked at the Sorting Hat that was originally placed aside and "sleeping" quietly. At this moment, it was motionless, just like an ordinary old hat.

Looking at the Sorting Hat, words such as "Chamber of Secrets", "Slytherin", "descendant", "Parseltongue", and "grandson" popped up in Harry's mind involuntarily. He stared at the Sorting Hat with a complicated expression.

In fact, the Sorting Hat had been awakened by the noise of Harry waking up. It had been looking at Harry quietly. Harry first shook his head and muttered to himself, as if he was possessed by a ghost.

The Sorting Hat couldn't help but wonder if Harry was really crazy, but when it thought of Dumbledore's instructions, it was about to say something when it saw Harry walking towards it, patting his head.

The Sorting Hat couldn't help but think: Oh, if only I had legs.

Harry walked up to the Sorting Hat, and it said, "Hey, Harry Potter, you're awake. Dumbledore told you that if you're awake and there's nothing wrong, you can go back."

Harry didn't care about what the Sorting Hat said. He asked anxiously, "That's not what I want to ask. I want to ask, you said at the time that I was more suitable for Slytherin. Is that true? Why did you say that?"

When the Sorting Hat heard Harry's question, its wrinkled eyes first widened, then narrowed, and said slowly: "Yes, I still think you have the qualities of Slytherin, but you insisted on going to Gryffindor at the time, and I respected your choice. Of course, you also have the qualities required of a wizard from Gryffindor College."

Harry was about to ask something else when suddenly, a careless, rough voice sounded from behind: "Professor Dumbledore, I don't think Harry did it. He couldn't have done such a thing... Harry, are you awake?"

Harry turned his head and saw Hagrid wearing clothes made of some unknown animal leather, holding the longbow given by Horn and carrying a pheasant.

Seeing Hagrid's excited and concerned expression, Harry felt a warm surge in his heart.

Hagrid saw Harry standing there with a haggard face, and hurriedly threw the longbow and pheasant in his hand to the ground, obviously controlling the strength when throwing the longbow. He walked to Harry in two steps, excitedly hugged Harry tightly in his arms like a doll, and said, "Harry, are you okay? I heard a lot of bad news when I returned to Hogwarts."

Harry felt like he was almost out of breath while being held in Hagrid's arms, but he felt warm in his heart.

The Sorting Hat on the side saw that Harry was about to be strangled and almost died, so it said hurriedly: "Hagrid, please let Harry go, otherwise you will make something bad happen. He is going to see Merlin."

"Ah, oh oh." Hagrid reacted quickly and let go of Harry. He looked at Harry's red face and felt a little at a loss.

Harry looked at Hagrid's expression and quickly comforted him, "I'm fine, Hagrid."

Two figures, one big and one small, stood in the aisle. The scene was warm yet a little solemn.

Harry looked up at Hagrid and asked, "Hagrid, did I really shoot Peeves with a gun? And I almost hurt other students?"

His face was full of disbelief and there was a hint of fear in his eyes.

Hagrid saw that Harry looked a little unhappy, and said quickly: "Harry, this is definitely not you who did it. You are a good boy, and I always believe you. Maybe they are exaggerating or lying."

At this point, Hagrid looked at the little wizards passing by. When they saw Harry, they turned around and ran away. Hagrid whispered to Harry, "It's possible that you were cursed at the time. Yes, that's right. It might be that you were cursed, so Professor Dumbledore went out to find a solution."

Harry looked at the little wizards who ran away in fear when they saw him, and felt sad. He began to doubt whether he had really done those terrible things.

"Oh~ Isn't this Harry, the undercover agent from Slytherin?" Just as Harry was immersed in his own thoughts, a very sharp voice with a mocking laugh suddenly sounded.

Harry and Hagrid looked up and saw that it was Carlo, the annoying guy. Seeing Carlo's arrogant look, Hagrid and Harry couldn't help but clench their fists, wishing they could hit him in the face.

Hagrid said angrily, "What do you mean by Slytherin undercover? Explain yourself clearly, kid."

Carrow stood there with a follower, looking at Hagrid and Harry not far away with contempt, with a smug smile on his face: "Of course it's Harry Potter, he's a Parseltongue, and he wants to kill all those Mudbloods, isn't this just trying to infiltrate the enemy Gryffindor House?"

The follower beside him also nodded in agreement.

Harry wanted to open his mouth to refute, but suddenly his mind flashed with what the Sorting Hat said, the image of himself being able to communicate with snakes, and those things he had done but had no memory of. He opened his mouth but couldn't say a word.

Hagrid felt very distressed when he saw Harry like this. He shouted angrily at Carlo, "Look, Harry is wearing Gryffindor's clothes. It was the Sorting Hat that sorted him into this house. Harry is Gryffindor, not Slytherin. Don't talk nonsense here."

Carlo looked at Harry who was silent, then looked at Hagrid who was full of anger. He didn't take Hagrid's words to heart at all. He continued to say to Harry, "Harry, I know you have been deceiving those stupid lions. You are a Slytherin through and through. From the discovery that you are a Parseltongue to the 'heroic deeds' you have done, you are more like a Slytherin than Nicholas and Malfoy!"

"Carlo, you are wrong. Harry didn't do those things. Harry is a brave Gryffindor."

"That's right, Harry is a brave lion, a brave Gryffindor, not a Slytherin. We all believe in Harry!"

At this time, a voice came from behind Carlo.
