The Impossible Sequel to Genshin Impact
Chapter 116 Encountering a Tide of Zombies
The two returned to the control center and started the engine of the space station. With a roar, the lights of the space station were finally restored, and countless sweeping robots came out from the corners and began to clean up the dusty space station.
Ying and Kong discovered that the door of the archives was locked and the key to the archives was stuck in the medical room, but the medical room was also locked and the key to the medical room was stuck in the archives, achieving a balance where no one could do anything to anyone.
Kong patted his head and said helplessly, "This is so annoying. This is a dead loop!" He frowned and scratched his hair in annoyance.
Ying seemed calmer. She comforted, "Don't worry, there must be a way. Let's look carefully again." After that, she continued to observe the surroundings, hoping to find some useful clues.
The two began to look for clues everywhere. They searched every corner, trying to find a way to solve this deadlock. After some effort, they finally found a message on a table.
The message read: "To open the door lock, two keys must be inserted at the same time."
Seeing this, Kong suddenly understood. He said excitedly: "I see! This makes sense. As long as we find a way to get the two keys, we can solve this mystery."
Ying nodded, agreeing with Kong's opinion. So, they decided to go to the medical room to find the key first, and then try the archives.
Along the way, they encountered some minor troubles, but they were all solved smoothly.
Finally, they arrived at the door of the medical room.
"I hope the key is still in there." Ying said softly.
Kong carefully pushed open the door and found the key to the medical room on the table. He was delighted and took out the key immediately.
"Great, with this key, we can go to the archives to look for more clues!" Kong said excitedly.
Then, they rushed to the archives without stopping. Along the way, both of them remained vigilant, fearing that they would encounter any more danger.
Finally, they arrived at the door of the archive. Sora inserted the key, the lock made a "click" sound, and the door opened.
"That's great!" Ying cheered happily.
Entering the archives, they began to look for information about the space station. After some effort, they finally found some important documents and records.
Kong and Ying read the information carefully and found some secrets about the space station. It turned out that a serious accident had occurred in the space station, causing some areas to be blocked, and the place where they were was one of them.
"Looks like we have to find another exit to leave here," Sora analyzed.
Ying nodded: "Yes, but let's see if there are any clues about other exits first."
So, they continued to look through the information in the archives, hoping to find a way to escape from the space station...
"Well, maybe there are other passages or control rooms. Let's go back and take a look." Ying suggested. She and Kong looked at each other and saw the determination in each other's eyes. So, they turned around and set out on the journey of exploring the space station again.
The two returned to the control center with new clues. There was still a tense atmosphere here, but they had gradually adapted to this environment. During the search, they carefully observed every corner and did not miss any place where clues might be hidden. Finally, they found a hidden room.
"This place looks unusual." Sora whispered. He gently pushed the door open, and it was pitch black inside. They walked in carefully, shining their flashlights around. Soon, they noticed a closed door in the room.
"Is there an exit behind this door?" Ying said expectantly. There was a hint of excitement in her voice, as if she had seen the dawn of hope. Kong walked forward and tried to push the door, but it didn't move at all.
"It seems that we need to find a way to open this door." Kong stroked his chin and thought. His eyes fell on the door, carefully observing whether there were any clues or switches around. At this moment, Ying noticed a strange pattern on the door, which seemed to be some kind of code.
"Look at this pattern... It looks like a puzzle!" Ying pointed at the door in surprise. Kong took a closer look and also discovered the uniqueness of this pattern. They began to study this pattern, trying to unravel the secret.
"Maybe the password is hidden in these materials." She said as she flipped through the documents in her hand.
After some searching, they finally found the password corresponding to the pattern on the door. After entering the password, the door slowly opened, revealing a passage leading to the outside world.
"We can finally leave here!" Kong and Ying smiled at each other, walked towards the passage with firm steps, and entered the space elevator. As the elevator descended, they were getting closer and closer to the ground. When the elevator was halfway down, they suddenly heard a noise coming from outside.
"What's that sound?" Kong frowned, feeling uneasy.
"It sounds like someone is screaming... and there are sounds of fighting!" Ying's face became solemn.
The two looked at each other and decided to go check out the situation. They carefully opened the elevator door, but were stunned by the scene before them - countless zombies and mutants were surrounding the bottom of the elevator, surrounding it.
"Is this the legendary tide of zombies?" Kong widened his eyes, looking at the scene in disbelief.
"It seems so..." Ying took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down, "We have to find a way to get out."
However, facing such a huge zombie tide, they don't seem to have many choices. At this moment, Kong suddenly thought of an idea: "Maybe we can use the height advantage of the elevator to lure them together and then get rid of them all at once."
So, they started to act. Kong stood at the elevator door, attracting the attention of zombies and mutants with gunshots; while Ying hid aside, ready to launch a fatal attack. When the zombies gathered together, Ying threw a grenade without hesitation, instantly blowing them to pieces.
With a loud bang, the zombie tide was temporarily dispersed, but more zombies and mutants came from all directions. Kong and Ying had to continue fighting, approaching the exit step by step. In the fierce battle, they gradually adapted to this tense atmosphere and cooperated more tacitly.
Finally, they successfully broke out of the zombie siege and reached the exit. Looking at the zombies still chasing them, they breathed a sigh of relief, knowing that they had successfully left this terrible place.
"We did it!" Sora said excitedly.
"Well, but this is not the end." Ying reminded, "We still have to find other survivors on Island 003 and make some deals, otherwise we will have no gold coins to buy things."
They walked along a small path, killing many small zombies on the way, and finally arrived at a small town surrounded by high walls with the words "9th Human Base" written on it.
As they were walking, suddenly a powerful female voice came from behind them: "Stop and be examined." Kong and Ying turned around and saw a female warrior holding a spear standing in front of them. Her eyes were sharp and revealed a kind of majesty.
