Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 33: First Encounter with Cedric

"Draco"

Ling Bai shook off Draco's hand with a little displeasure.

"Why did Uncle Lucius do that? Harry is just a child."

"I don't know Ling Bai either, but my father certainly has his own ideas."

Ling Bai was silent. Draco was also in a bad mood. When he entered the Quidditch boutique and saw the familiar figure, Draco's bad mood reached its peak.

"Ling Bai, I didn't expect to meet you here"

Oliver Wood hadn't seen Ling Bai for a whole summer, so he could hardly suppress his excitement after seeing Ling Bai.

"Oliver, what a coincidence."

Ling Bai was also looking at Oliver in front of him, who was much taller than the one he had seen before.

My mood was a little excited, but it was quickly extinguished.

Oh, his damned little body.

The feeling of having meat in front of him but not being able to eat it made Ling Bai, the fox, drool so much.

Draco was unhappy, very unhappy, extremely unhappy.

But he could only stand aside in silence and could not speak.

Stay calm, you must stay calm. He and Ling Bai had just had some unpleasantness, and now he can't make Ling Bai angry again.

Draco forced himself to calm down.

But seeing the two people chatting happily not far away, Draco couldn't keep calm at all. He strode up to the two of them, with his cloak swaying behind him.

Draco stood in front of Oliver and Ling Bai.

"Oh, long time no see, Wood."

Wood was slightly stunned, and his eyes turned unfriendly when he looked at Draco.

Draco found Wood annoying, and Wood also found Draco annoying.

"Hello, Malfoy."

As soon as he finished speaking, Wood turned his gaze to Ling Bai again.

"Ling Bai, do you want to join the Quidditch team this year?"

"Sorry Oliver, I don't have that idea. Besides, if I join, we will meet on the field, and I can't do anything to you."

Ling Bai joked with a smile.

Wood thought about it and felt that it made sense. He really couldn't do anything to Ling Bai facing this face.

"I haven't seen you for a holiday, but you have grown a lot taller."

Ling Bai looked at Wood, who was trying hard to find topics to talk about, with a smile on his face. He glanced at the time and felt that it was about time.

"Draco, I think we should go back to the bookstore. I haven't bought my textbooks yet."

"Well, now that you mention it, Dad should have finished talking too."

"Oliver, see you at the start of school."

"OK, bye"

Oliver stood at the door in a daze and watched Ling Bai leave.

Oliver felt very strange. From childhood to adulthood, there was only one thing he had such a strong love for, and that was Quidditch.

He had always thought that he would devote his whole life to Quidditch, but he didn't expect Ling Bai to suddenly appear.

The first time Oliver saw Ling Bai, he felt his heart beating abnormally.

Oliver didn't know that, as the Chinese saying goes, it was love at first sight and love at second sight.

The two walked towards the bookstore and ran into Harry and his friends head-on. Ling Bai immediately trotted over, eyes full of self-blame.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't stop Uncle Lucius. Are you okay? Did Uncle Lucius do anything to you?"

The boy's self-blaming look made it hard for people to blame him at all, and besides, it was not his fault in the first place.

"We are fine, Ling Bai, you don't have to blame yourself"

"Ling Bai, look, I've said all along that Malfoy is no good, now you see it."

Ron looked indignant.

"Ron, what do you mean?"

"Why, was I wrong, wasn't I?"

"you......"

"Ron, please stop talking."

Hermione pulled Ron back.

Ling Bai took out clean tissues and handed them to everyone.

"Wipe the dust off your face first."

Seeing Ling Bai reaching out to wipe Harry's face, Draco finally couldn't help it.

"Ling Bai, don't we still need to go back to the bookstore to buy textbooks? Let's go there first."

Ling Bai's hand was held, and he handed it directly to Harry with some apology.

"I'll be leaving now Harry."

Harry nodded and watched the two men leave.

"Don't you think that Ling Bai is really out of place in Slytherin? It looks really weird."

Hermione narrowed her eyes slightly.

"He really doesn't look like a Slytherin at all. The Sorting Hat must have had a seizure in its brain."

Ron looked at Draco indignantly, wishing he could expose Draco.

"Malfoy must have often made Ling Bai angry. If I were Malfoy, I would never do that."

Ron muttered quietly, with a flash of envy in his eyes.

At the train platform, after Ling Bai and Draco got on the train, Ling Bai kept looking out the window.

"Ling Bai, what are you looking at?"

Draco also followed Ling Bai's gaze and looked outside, but found nothing there, only people coming and going.

"Nothing Draco, I was just thinking about something."

Draco pursed his lips slightly.

"Ever since we started school you seem to be hiding things from me. We were never like this before."

"This is normal, Draco. You don't need to be sad. Just like you are hiding something from me."

Draco opened his mouth and wanted to say something, but found that no matter how he explained, he seemed powerless, so he had to lower his head in disappointment.

Halfway through the journey, Ling Bai went to the bathroom, and as he walked out of his carriage, he accidentally bumped into someone.

The man opposite him was obviously much broader and stronger than himself. Ling Bai was knocked back and sat directly on the ground.

The pain in his butt made him frown slightly.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that"

A large hand with distinct joints first appeared in front of Ling Bai. He raised his head and saw a very typical handsome British boy's appearance, with deep facial features and charming eyes.

He is a young man who exudes his charm all the time.

The two were stunned at the same time. Ling Bai really couldn't have imagined that one day such a bloody scene that only happened in idol dramas would happen to him.

"Thank you"

Ling Bai politely placed his hand on the person in front of him, stood up with the help of his strength, and brushed off the dust on himself.

The person in front of him was still in a daze.

"It's also my fault for not paying attention to the road. It seems like this is a lesson for me."

Ling Bai narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Oh, I'm Cedric Diggory, I'm really sorry for what happened just now"

There was deep regret in the boy's eyes.

His bright grey eyes made him look kind and gentle.

Just like the way he feels as a person.

"It's okay, I'm Lingbai Gaunt"

"Oh, you are the one who fought against that guy with Harry Potter last semester. At first I thought I bumped into a girl. Of course, I didn't mean anything else. I just thought you were very beautiful."

After Cedric finished speaking, he blushed.

The first time he saw Ling Bai, he felt that he must have bumped into a pretty and cute junior high school girl.
