Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 34: The Past of Severus Snape

"Of course, many people say that, but I don't care. Senior Cedric, you are from Hufflepuff, right?"

Cedric's eyes lit up, and he could hardly suppress his surprise.

"You know me"

"Of course, I've seen the senior's Quidditch games. He's a very good seeker, although his physique doesn't look like one."

Cedric rubbed his head awkwardly.

“Yes, that’s what everyone says.”

"But that doesn't stop you from being a good seeker."

Cedric looked at the beautiful junior in front of him who looked like a legendary little angel, and felt touched.

Of the four houses, Hufflepuff is the least popular.

Except for a small number of people from their academy, there are very few people watching the competitions of their academy. Most of the audience go to watch the competitions of their opposing academy.

Cedric didn't know whether Ling Bai went to watch the game of the rival academy at that time, but he was still touched that he paid attention to him.

"Oh, if you can, I'd be glad you could come and watch my game again."

"certainly"

Although Cedric liked the little angel in front of him very much, he couldn't talk to Ling Bai for too long. He said a few words quickly and left.

When Ling Bai returned to his seat, Draco immediately came over.

"Why did you take so long to go to the toilet?"

"I met a guy and chatted with him for a while"

"Who?"

Draco's eyes narrowed immediately, and a dangerous light flashed in them.

"A Hufflepuff, accidentally bumped into"

When Draco heard the word Hufflepuff, he finally felt relieved.

He knew that Hufflepuff had the lowest presence among the four houses, and he usually didn't pay any attention to the people from this house.

So he naturally thought that Ling Bai would not pay too much attention to it, so it was just an accidental accident.

After everyone finished dinner in the church, Ling Bai was stopped by Professor Snape.

Apparently, he needed to go to Snape's office in the evening to receive advice on his academic issues from Professor Snape.

"Ling Bai"

Hermione called Ling Bai with some anxiety on her face.

"Ron and Harry haven't come to school yet. I asked George and the others, and they said they passed the platform together, but I don't know why they didn't come."

Ling Bai frowned slightly.

"Did something unexpected happen? But that shouldn't happen. Hermione, don't worry about it. Go ask Professor McGonagall. Maybe something tripped you up. I'll go find Hagrid."

"it is good"

Ling Bai went to find Hagrid, and after getting the answer from Hagrid, he went to find Hermione. Seeing that the time agreed with Snape was approaching, Ling Bai had to go to Snape's office first.

In Snape's office, Ling Bai looked at the originally small green plant that was dotted with only a few red fruits, but was now heavy with fruit.

The round and plump red fruits are crowded together, like a bunch of miniature grapes.

"Professor Snape, it looks like it's been well cared for."

Snape's body stiffened, and a hint of embarrassment and guilt flashed in his eyes, as if his little secret was exposed.

“It can only be said that it has strong vitality.”

Ling Bai couldn't help but laugh. Snape snorted coldly and tapped the table with his finger bones.

"Come here, let me test you to see if you have been lazy during this holiday."

Snape first picked a few easier questions, and then a few more difficult ones.

Ling Bai answered one by one, and Snape nodded, obviously very satisfied, but he said.

“Not bad, not deserted at all”

Just at this moment, Filch walked in with two people with their heads hung.

Seeing the familiar figure, there was a flash of surprise in the eyes of the three people.

When Snape saw the newspaper handed to him by Filch and the stories narrated by Filch, his head buzzed.

"At least seven Muggles saw you! Do you realize how serious this is? You almost exposed our world to the public."

There was barely suppressed anger in Snape's voice, and a hint of worry in his eyes.

"And you've caused serious damage to the Whomping Willow, a tree that's older than you are."

"Honestly, Professor Snape, the Whomping Willow may do more harm to us."

Ron couldn't help but speak, Ling Bai gently pushed him and shook his head at his small movements.

"To shut up"

Snape stood up and looked at the two troublemakers in front of him with a depressed look.

"I made you promise that if you were a Slytherin and I had the power to decide your fate, you would take the train home right now and would never be allowed to come back again."

"professor"

Ling Bai was about to plead for the two when a voice interrupted him.

'They don't have to go home'

Everyone turned around and saw Dumbledore and McGonagall.

"Principal, what these two children did violated the underage wizard restriction decree. Since I am the principal of this school..."

"I understand. I understand all the rules very well. After all, many of them were made by me."

Ling Bai was standing next to Snape and was closest to him. He clearly felt the low pressure coming from Snape.

"Since Professor McGonagall is the head of Gryffindor House, she has the right to decide how to punish them."

Ling Bai didn't care how McGonagall punished Harry and the others, but his eyes were now on Snape.

It was obvious that Snape was very angry now, which reminded Ling Bai of a video in which a netizen analyzed the character of Snape.

He said that no matter he was the leader of Slytherin House or a sought-after potion master, everything about him, including his sharp tongue, was his armor to protect himself.

He has a soft and warm heart, but he is inherently inferior, which comes from his family.

His mother is Eileen Prince, a pure-blood witch, and his father, Tobias Snape, is a Muggle, which makes him a half-blood wizard. His father has a violent tendency and does not like his wizard ancestry, which is why Snape cares so much about his bloodline.

He had no friends in his childhood except Lily, and he grew up in Spinner's End, a run-down suburb of Cokeworth.[3] The town was located on the edge of a sewage river and was filled with dilapidated houses, abandoned factories and broken street lamps.

Every year during the holidays he was eager to return to Hogwarts, which was the same mentality as Harry's now.

James had a crush on Lily, so he was always jealous of Severus, so later James bullied Severus, hung him upside down and took off his underwear in front of many students.

This became a stain that Severus could never erase in his lifetime, so his feelings towards Harry have always been very contradictory.

He never forgot his hatred for James, but Harry also had Lily's blood in his body, so in the end he resolutely chose to protect Lily's child.

This was the only thing he felt he could do, even if it meant sacrificing his own life.
