Harry Potter: Impossibly Cute

Chapter 36 The Weeping Little Beauty

How could Ling Bai not know what kind of person Lockhart was.

It was just that he really didn't want to face this teacher, so this happened.

Just at this moment, Snape came over.

He looked at the mess in the classroom with an extremely grim expression, staring at Lockhart as if he wanted to devour him.

Lockhart swallowed guiltily.

"Um, Professor Snape, why are you here?"

"If I don't come, you can tear down this classroom"

Ling Bai looked at Draco who was standing behind Snape.

"Professor Lockhart, could you please explain the situation to me?"

“Well, this was an accident.”

"Really? Professor, is this an accident? You should explain it to Headmaster Dumbledore."

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they watched Lockhart being forced to be taken away by Snape.

"Oh, thank God, this farce is finally over"

Hermione smoothed her hair.

"What kind of teacher is this? This is too unreliable."

Ron looked dissatisfied.

Lockhart was reminded by Dumbledore, while Ling Bai was taken back by Snape.

In Snape's office.

"Don't go to Lockhart's class anymore. Just come to my office and help me with the herbs."

Snape's expression was very ugly.

Ling Bai smiled.

"Okay, Professor. I've always felt that you're more suitable for Defense Against the Dark Arts than Potions."

Snape's expression froze, and then became even uglier.

"I don't know what Dumbledore was thinking. The teachers he hired are all rotten. If you want to learn Defense Against the Dark Arts in the future, come to me."

Ling Bai looked at Snape, whose attitude towards him had obviously changed since the beginning of this semester, with a smile in his eyes.

Snape regards Lily's child Harry as the purpose of his life, and protecting him seems to be his mission.

Snape always felt that he had already fallen into the swamp and became an unforgivable sinner, and the only way to atone for his sins was Harry.

Now there is a person who can replace Harry, who is also Lily's child, but Harry has too much of his father's shadow, while the other one has perfectly inherited his mother.

Regardless of appearance, it was more about character that slowly, bit by bit, pulled Snape out of the swamp.

Then from now on he will care about more people, and he should live in the sunshine.

This is Ling Bai's goal. He wants Snape to live well and have a new life of his own, instead of just living in Lily's shadow.

Lily was once his sunshine, but when the sunshine went out, it turned into darkness and swallowed Snape. Isn't this also a kind of harm?

The sun is shining brightly today. Ling Bai then remembered that Draco had told him early in the morning that today was his first training day. He had finally officially become a member of the Quidditch team, and asked him to go and watch his training today.

Ling Bai decided to go over and take a look now.

When passing by, Ling Bai saw two groups of people, Draco and Harry and others.

Ling Bai's heart skipped a beat. I wondered if these two ancestors would start quarreling again.

Ling Bai rushed over quickly, and heard the Mudblood.

"Draco Malfoy"

Ling Bai's voice could hardly conceal his anger.

"Ling Bai"

Draco, who had been so arrogant just now, immediately fell silent.

Ling Bai looked at Ron who had fallen to the ground and hurried to help him up.

"Let's take him to the infirmary first."

"No, let's take him to Hagrid, he'll definitely know what to do."

In Hagrid's hut, Ron was vomiting while holding a wooden bucket, and Hermione's eyes were red.

"I'm sorry Hermione"

"You don't have to apologize. It was Malfoy who said that, not you. I can understand you living under someone else's roof."

Ling Bai opened his mouth and his face turned pale.

Ling Bai's figure is rather petite to begin with, and perhaps because of his oriental ancestry, his growth rate is much slower than that of Westerners, which makes him look quite pitiful now.

It is fragile and easily broken, just like a white lotus trembling in the wind and rain, which makes people feel distressed.

Harry looked at Ling Bai, and Dumbledore's words rang in his mind again.

Harry closed his eyes in pain, hiding the struggle in his eyes.

"The Malfoy family has always been like this, they think they are of pure blood and are full of superiority, but that is simply nonsense. Nowadays, wizards are more or less mixed-blooded."

Hagrid waved to Hermione.

"No wizard has ever invented a spell that you can't learn. This is your talent, which many people cannot achieve."

Hermione smiled.

"Hagrid, you're right. I don't need to be angry at that guy Malfoy. He's not worth it."

Ling Bai stood a little distance away from the others, always feeling out of place.

It really looks heartbreaking, but who knows what the person involved is thinking.

After Ling Bai left Ron, he went straight to find Draco.

Draco was training on the training ground. When he saw Ling Bai coming, he immediately got off his broom.

"Ling Bai, I...I didn't mean it, I just spoke without restraint"

Ling Bai said nothing, just looked at Draco, tears welling up in his beautiful eyes.

"Draco, why? Is it wrong for me to want to be friends with Harry and the others? Is it wrong for me to be friends with you too? I keep trying to achieve a balance between you two, to at least make sure you don't compete with each other so much. Am I wrong, or do Gryffindors and Slytherins just don't get along?

If that's the case, should I just leave, or should you tell me what I should do?"

"Ling Bai, you, don't cry!"

Draco threw the broom in his hand to the ground in panic, not caring how precious it was to him at the time.

He hurriedly reached out to wipe Ling Bai's tears, but Ling Bai dodged him.

"Sorry, maybe I was being unreasonable. Just go ahead and train. I won't bother you anymore."

After saying that, he ran out in a hurry without waiting for Draco to react or stop him.

Ignore the calls from those behind you.

Ling Bai lowered his head and ran quickly, so when he turned the corner he didn't see the person coming towards him and bumped into him head-on.

The person opposite groaned, but supported him in time and prevented him from falling to the ground.

"Ling Bai"

An excited voice sounded familiar. Ling Bai subconsciously looked up and met Cedric's eyes.

Cedric looked at the handsome boy whom he had just met two days ago. His eyes were red and tears were falling. His heart tightened.

"Ling Bai, why are you crying? What happened? Were you bullied?"

Cedric's voice was anxious, but the boy being questioned just lowered his head and cried silently.
