Mystery: I Married the Queen of Mystery

#14 - First time attending a Tarot Club

After "The Fool's" brief introduction, "Justice" Audrey greeted, "Hello, Mr. Hermit."

Then, as usual, she continued to greet the other members, which also served as an introduction of the original members and their codenames to the newcomer.

While greeting the other members, as a "Mind Reader" of the "Audience" pathway, she was also carefully observing the new member hidden by the gray fog: "Hermit" looked to be in his twenties, with casual yet neat attire and hairstyle, suggesting a disciplined gentleman who doesn't particularly like following rules.

He was curious but not nervous, and after curiosity, he became cautious, indicating excellent psychological qualities and a rational, calm personality.

After a brief observation, Audrey had already outlined a general "psychological image" of "Hermit" in her mind.

At the same time, Odyss was also observing the other members. Under the influence of the gray fog, "The Fool" looked mysterious and powerful. To avoid being made an example of, Odyss didn't observe too closely.

Opposite him was a golden-haired figure in noble attire. Although his face was unclear, spiritually, one could sense that this was a very beautiful young lady.

To Audrey's lower side was Fors Wall, with brown, slightly curly hair, wearing a beige dress, and without any airs.

At the head of Odyss's row was Alger Wilson, with blue hair, looking very rugged, and wearing attire from the Rosed Islands.

Next to him was a young man a head taller than Odyss, wearing classic leather clothing. This was "Little Sun" Derrick Berg.

At the very end was the seemingly gloomy "Fool's Minor," lacking the vitality of a living person.

Everyone was also observing this new member. "Magician" Fors speculated whether the new member was a Beyonder. "Hanged Man" Alger guessed the new member's background. "Sun" Derrick was simply happy about the Tarot Club's expansion.

As for "The World," he was currently just a puppet without his own thoughts.

After the greeting session and a certain amount of mutual observation, Audrey spoke first: "Respected Mr. Fool, I have something I would like to report to you privately."

Alger withdrew his attention from "Hermit": A private report?

Immediately afterward, he subconsciously began to guess the content of the report.

Klein behind the gray fog nodded slightly: "You may."

After speaking, he shielded the senses of the other members and began a private conversation.

Audrey reported her contact with the Psychology Alchemists and submitted two pages of the diary she saw at the Rosell Memorial Exhibition.

In Odyss's memory, the Tarot Club convened too many times. He had no recollection of the content of Audrey's private report this time, so he waited quietly like the other members.

About four or five minutes later, the "private report" ended, and Fors eagerly looked towards "The World" at the bottom: "Mr. World, I will collect miraculous items or powerful Beyonder weapons in the Sun domain for you as soon as possible."

Odyss was slightly stunned and then recalled: Klein was going to fight with the "Hedonist" members of the "Rose School."

He leaned forward slightly, about to speak, but then thought that this was his first time attending the Tarot Club, and it was better to observe first, as that would be the normal thing to do.

Audrey asked: "What kind of deal did you reach in private?"

Fors did not hide anything: "Mr. World helped me find the 'Trick Master' potion formula."

Currently, she was still an "Apprentice." She had been looking for the Sequence 8 formula for several years, but she didn't expect to obtain the long-awaited formula so soon after joining the Tarot Club.

Audrey exclaimed inwardly: Mr. World is very capable of finding formulas!

Then she asked enthusiastically: "Mr. Hermit, did you have any questions about 'miraculous items' or 'Beyonder weapons' just now?"

Odyss's small movements, of course, did not escape the eyes of a "Mind Reader," but she misinterpreted Odyss's meaning and thought he had questions about the concept of miraculous items or Beyonder weapons.

For most Beyonders, the concepts of these two things are indeed easily confused.

"First of all, thank you for your concern." Odyss said politely. Having said that, he had no choice but to say what he was going to say, otherwise, he might be labeled as "dishonest" during his first meeting:

"I happen to have a Beyonder weapon in the 'Sun' domain. Well, to be precise, it can no longer be considered a Beyonder weapon, because I used Sequence 7-level Beyonder materials in it.

"I don't know if it meets Mr. World's requirements? But then I thought that this was a transaction between Mr. World and Miss Magician, so it would be inappropriate to speak rashly."

Odyss was not worried that the weapon he created using the array would expose his research results. Beyonders outside the "Seer," "Reader," and "Scholar" pathways would hardly discover the uniqueness of his weapons.

Klein behind the gray fog slightly curled his lips. He used the image of "The World" to imply to "Magician" to discuss the purchase of miraculous items at the Tarot Club in order to attract the attention of "Hermit."

After all, now that the Tarot Club has such a channel, why not use it?

Audrey was slightly stunned. First, she didn't expect that her "mind reading" would make a mistake this time. Then she was a little surprised, not expecting the new member to be able to provide Beyonder weapons.

Alger guessed: Is the new member a craftsman?

"Little Sun" Derrick: Every member of the Tarot Club seems so amazing!

Fors was also stunned, thinking that it was rare to encounter transactions of Beyonder weapons in Beyonder gatherings: Mr. Fool must have carefully considered when choosing new members.

But then she thought: Miss Justice is a noble, Mr. Hanged Man has channels at sea, "Sun" comes from the "Land Abandoned by God," "World" has various rich channels, the new member seems to have channels for Beyonder weapons… Uh, what is my role?

While "Magician" was caught in self-doubt, Klein manipulated "The World" and said in a low voice: "You can talk about the Beyonder weapon you hold. If it's suitable, I can also buy it directly from you."

Odyss introduced: "When this weapon is not in use, it is only the length of an adult's palm, cylindrical in shape, and can be held with one hand.

"After injecting spirituality, the upper and lower ends will extend, forming a virtual, forearm-length pure white scepter.

"As long as spirituality is injected, within five meters, it will be filled with warm and pure power. Fallen, evil, and undead monsters will continue to be damaged, while their teammates will continue to be encouraged;

"It can cast 'Purification Slash' on the target, with an attack distance of about 15 meters; it can also create 'Holy Water.'"

This was one of Odyss's more powerful experimental products. A portion of the "Red Crest of the Dawn Rooster" was used in its creation, which is one of the main materials for advancing to Sequence 7 "Sun High Priest" of the "Sun" pathway.

Klein frowned slightly. This sounded somewhat different from a normal Beyonder weapon. He manipulated "The World" and asked: "How much are you planning to sell it for? How long can it be used?"

Beyonder weapons generally have the problem of "usage time."

"1200 pounds!" Odyss quoted: "Maintain it once a year, and it can be used for at least five or six years, or even longer. Each maintenance costs 150 pounds!"

Klein behind the gray fog instantly sat up straight: This is definitely not a proper Beyonder weapon!
