vampire bat

Chapter 22

"Irland is in the Hunter's Guild," Vinny told Thales, who had already burned the letter.

"If that's the case, the two of us alone won't be able to save him."

"I know who to look for." Winnie gave him a mysterious smile back.

"Do you need me to accompany you?"

"No, it's too dangerous for you to go."

Winnie's last hope is the werewolf John, they have the same name, but he believes that John will not die.

To go to John's house, you have to cross the border and enter the territory of the werewolves. Although John's territory is close to the border, Winnie knows that once he steps in, he can't count on anyone to save him.

Standing at the border, Winnie felt the warning breath coming towards him. He knew that there were werewolves hiding in the nearby jungle and watching him.

He stepped out with one foot, and the next second, a black shadow suddenly appeared from the bushes in the jungle.

"I want to see John." Winnie dodged easily.

"The wolf king doesn't welcome you vampires." The werewolf turned around in the back row, and was slightly taken aback when he saw Winnie, "You turned into a vampire? You were just an ordinary little familiar when you came that day."

"It's a very complicated story, and now I have an urgent matter with John."

"Go back, you are not welcome here."

Vinny looked at the sky and said, "See if you can catch me."

"What?!" The werewolf watched as Winnie turned into a bat and jumped into the sky in an instant, and the bat seemed to beckoning to him.

Winnie looked at the werewolf that was chasing after him on the ground, shook his head helplessly, and flew even harder.

He flew directly to the second floor from the window, and saw John just in time when he landed.

"John, long time no see..." Winnie felt a little embarrassed to appear so suddenly.

But before they could say anything else, they heard a knock on the door downstairs.

John glanced at Winnie, as if he knew something.

Winnie stuck out his tongue.

"John! A vampire flew in!" The werewolf patrolled the room as soon as he entered the door.

"It's all right, Blitzcrank, I'm fine, nothing happened." John grabbed him so the guy wouldn't run upstairs and find Vinny.

"It's him! This guy is flying in the sky to play tricks on me!"

John turned his head and saw Winnie staying from the stairs, looking at them innocently.

"Oh my god, why did you come down..." John put his hand on his forehead, how did this guy like to make trouble like Erlande.

Britz rushed over, and Vinny screamed and started to hide behind John.

"Blitzcrank! Stop chasing me, I'm going to lose my eyesight," said John. "Leave me alone."

After Britz reluctantly walked away, John pulled Vinny out from behind.

"After you become a vampire, it becomes more and more difficult to manage. You become a bat to tease a werewolf." John said, "Sit down, what blood type do you like to drink?"

"Type O blood."

John handed the warmed blood to Winnie before asking him, "Come to me for Eland."

Winnie nodded, and said: "Eland is at the Hunter's Guild... After we went back, many things happened. Wilson fell asleep, and Bourne kicked Eland out again. He was very mentally ill. I saw him. Like crazy, just sitting around every day. He escaped and was caught by hunters, so I want you to help me save him."

Winnie thought John would have a problem with Erlande being in the Hunter's Guild, but he agreed without saying anything.

"I'll help you."

"Thank you John," Vinny said, "but it will be very dangerous. There are many hunters in the Hunter's Guild, and we have no helpers."

"I will find a way and try to persuade them to go with me."

Winnie looked at him and smiled gratefully, but he felt that there was no way those werewolves could help him.

"I'll go first." Winnie stood up, planning to slip out of the window again, he didn't want to see the sad green eyes outside when he opened the door.

After flying over the boundary line, Vinny transformed from a bat back into a boy with peace of mind, and went home among the crowd on the street.

Vinny stopped on the side of the road, bought a newspaper from the newsboy, and found news about the dead hunter.

"Winnie." Suddenly someone stopped him. Winnie thought the voice was familiar but couldn't remember who it was for a while, but turned around and saw a pair of red eyes.

Quigley!Winnie ran away with his fastest speed almost instantly, but he was caught the moment he turned around and was smashed to the ground.

Passers-by around screamed and fled, they knew it was two vampires.

Winnie tried to get up while supporting the cracked ground, but Quigley stepped on the ground again.

"Bring me back."

His valets emerged from hiding in the corner, and they grabbed Winnie's arms to tie him up.

"Let me go." Winnie struggled, but the vampires couldn't catch him, but he pushed him away.

Suddenly, a silver light flashed in front of his eyes, and Winnie felt a stabbing pain in his chest, and looked down to see a silver stake driven into his heart.

"You..." Winnie had heard the legend that a wooden stake piercing a vampire's heart could kill him. He grasped the tail of the silver stake in vain, and then his eyes went dark.

After Winnie woke up, he saw the silver stake on his chest for the first time. He pulled it out, touched his wound that healed quickly, and rejoiced that the legend was false.

This place seemed to be underground, and the surrounding area was covered with a thick layer of ice due to the cold air. The only light source was the place where the coffin was placed in front of it.

Vinny walked over and looked at the black coffin covered with a thick layer of frost.

This is not for me, is it?Vinny thought that Quigley had trapped himself here, perhaps trying to lock himself up like Thales.

He opened the coffin, but saw the frozen Josephine. There was no trace of blood on Josephine's body. He was still in that gorgeous robe, and even the expression on his face looked very peaceful. Come to the words of the scars.

"Don't touch him." Quigley's voice suddenly rang out when Vinny reached out to touch him.

Quigley looked at Josephine in the coffin, bent down, put his arms on the coffin, and was very close to Josephine.

"You...why don't you let him..." Winnie couldn't say it, even though Josephine had been dead for so long, he still didn't want to say the words 'let him rest in peace'

.

"I can't imagine not seeing him." Quigley looked at Josephine. He had never shown him such a peaceful face, not even when he was asleep. The first time I saw him, I knew I liked him."

Quigley closed the coffin, turned to look at Vinny: "Who is your creator?"

"You want to kill us, don't you?" Vinny asked.

"Of course, you violated the commandments."

"I won't tell you anything." Vinny shook his head. He had already been caught, and he couldn't betray Thales anyway. After all, he was the only one Ange could rely on.

"Unfortunately, it just so happens that I have something else to know." Quigley looked at him calmly, those red eyes showing no emotion.

Winnie looked at him, but felt a little danger in his heart.

Sure enough, Quigley grabbed Vinny's clothes and dragged him toward the corner.

Vinny struggled so hard that his nails scratched Quigley's hand.

Quigley frowned disapprovingly, and he tossed Winnie onto the ice.

Winnie didn't have time to cry out the pain after landing, he got up and rushed towards Quigley as fast as he could, with all the hatred in his heart.Still, he's easily caught by Quigley, as if he's a slow-motion human in his eyes.

"I don't like rough vampires," said Quigley. "You're such a restless fellow."

Quigley grabbed Winnie by the clothes and pinned him to the icicles emerging from the wall.

Cones of ice protruded from Winnie's chest, holding him in midair.

Quigley grabbed Winnie's hand and bit it.

"No, don't!" Winnie realized that Quigley was using blood to obtain his memory, then everything, including killing Josephine, would be discovered by Quigley.

Quigley is a lunatic, if he let that know that he killed Josephine, he will make himself a thousand times more painful, Vinny thought.

Quigley let go, and he looked up at Vinny.

Winnie also looked at him uneasily, but Quigley never spoke, and Winnie guessed that he was probably trying to torture himself.

"I think it's time for you to bask in the sun." Quigley wiped away the blood from his mouth, showing a cautious smile.
