Chapter 28 Lu Wei with Three Heads

"There's a three-headed dog there, I want to see it; but it's too dangerous, and my mother played with it all summer vacation; it's a three-headed dog! But it might be life-threatening, even if it comes back alive, It's even scarier when my mother is on fire. A dog with three heads, a dog with three heads..." Jacqueline sat blankly in the empty Slytherin lounge and looked at the fireplace in front of her, "Why is there no such thing in this world? Something that makes me decide to go or not to go..."

"What are you muttering about?" Pansy yawned and came out of the bedroom. "What time is it? Treat yourself as a statue? Didn't you just pass the 'Miss Know-It-All' exam? I couldn't think of any good reason To lie to your parents?"

"Go, go," Jacqueline frowned and waved her hand, "I'm thinking."

"The final exams are over, what else do you think about?"

"A matter of life and death."

"I still have to think about it?" Pan Xi snorted, "Of course it's a choice between life and death."

"You really are," Jacqueline stood up from the sofa and walked towards the door while talking, "It makes sense."

"Where are you going?" Pansy narrowed her eyes, trying not to bang herself against the wall.

"Kitchen," Jacqueline yelled.

"Are you hungry again?" Pansy turned left into her room, and Jacqueline turned right out of the common room.

"Wait," when Jacqueline walked out of the corridor on the fourth floor, she heard Hermione's voice, "I believe she will come."

"Please, Hermione," said Ron, "You're inviting a Slytherin student to join us against Snape! If it were me, I'd definitely go and warn Snape not to come!"

"Ron, just trust her for once."

"If she doesn't show up in five minutes," Harry said, "we'll leave her alone, or Voldemort might..."

"Harry, can you not mention this name next time in front of Jacqueline?"

"Why?" Harry asked.

"Because," Jacqueline walked to the door and gave Hermione a look, "I'm not as brave as you."

"Now that we're all together," said Harry, "I won't blame you if you want to back off now," he said. "You can take the Invisibility Cloak with you, I don't need it anymore."

"Don't be silly," said Ron.

"Let's go together," said Hermione, looking at Jacqueline.

"Actually," Jacqueline looked up at Hermione, "I just came here to tell you that I won't participate in your life-threatening extracurricular activity."

"What?" Hermione frowned, and Ron looked at Harry like I told you, "Jacqueline, I, I thought..."

"I look forward to your coming back alive." Jacqueline shrugged, turned and walked back.

"Stop, Jacqueline!" Ron yelled at her back, "Jacqueline, you, you really let us down, I thought you were a little bit different from Malfoy and Pansy! "

"I'm a Slytherin," Jacqueline replied, her back turned to them.

"Don't you want to defeat Voldemort?" Harry yelled.

"But I know," Jacqueline stopped, turned around, and looked at Harry with disgust, "it's not the mysterious man over there."

"That's your Head Master too, Snape!" continued Harry.

"Oh," Jacqueline sneered, "Then I have no reason to help you."

"Then you don't want to see," said Hermione at last, putting her hand on the doorknob. "What does a dog with three heads look like? It's right behind this door, and you should be able to see it." Hear it cry."

Jacqueline frowned, "That's probably just you..."

Hermione pushed the door open.

Following the creaking sound of the door opening, low-pitched barking immediately sounded in their ears.Although the big dog couldn't see them, all three of its noses were twitching and sniffing frantically towards them.

"When you said three heads," Jacqueline frowned and looked at the tall dog in front of her, "I thought you were joking."

"What's that at its feet?" Hermione asked softly.

"Looks like a harp," said Ron. "Snape must have left it."

"Apparently it wakes up as soon as the music stops," said Harry. "Well, you listen." He put Hagrid's flute to his mouth and began to blow.He was out of tune, but as soon as he hit the first note, Big Dog's eyes began to droop.Harry was blowing almost non-stop.Slowly, the barking of the big dog stopped, it wobbled a few times, its knees softened and it knelt down, then fell to the floor and fell into a deep sleep.

"Keep blowing, don't stop," Ron reminded Harry, as they slipped off the Invisibility Cloak and tiptoed towards the trapdoor. They could feel the hot, stinky breath of the big dog as they approached the three huge heads.

"I think we can pull the trap door open," said Ron, looking behind the big dog. "Hermione, would you like to go down first?"

"Let a lady go down first," Jacqueline snorted, "you're such a gentleman."

"Okay." Ron gritted his teeth and carefully stepped over the big dog's lap.He bent down and pulled the tab on the trapdoor, and it swung open.

"What can you see?" Hermione asked anxiously.

"There was nothing to see, it was pitch black, and there was no ladder to go down, so we had to jump."

Still playing the flute, Harry waved at Ron to get his attention, and then pointed at himself.

"It's right that you want to go down first." Jacqueline said, reached out to grab his disciple before Harry could answer, and wiped Harry's robe in distaste. During the few seconds when the music stopped Then the dog growled again and began to writhe, but Jacqueline blew on the flute before he fell back into a deep sleep.

"Okay," said Harry, "I'll go down first, then Ron, then Hermione." Harry climbed over the dog and looked down through the hole. The bottom is bottomless.

He slowly slid down the hole, and finally he only had ten fingers to cling to the edge of the hole.He looked up at Ron and said, "If something happens to me, don't follow me down. Go straight to the cupboard where the owl lives and send Hedwig to deliver a message to Dumbledore, okay?"

"Fine," said Ron.

"See you later, I hope"

Harry let go of his hand.

"Is he all right?" Hermione asked worriedly just as Harry disappeared into the cave.Jacqueline shook her head while playing the flute.

"No problem!" After a while, Harry's voice came from below, "It's a soft landing, you can jump now!"

Ron jumped down immediately.

"Jacqueline, come with us." Hermione looked back at Jacqueline before jumping off.Jacqueline shook her head.

"This is Lu Wei with three heads, don't you want to know what's behind it?" Hermione continued to ask, Jacqueline didn't answer, but just kept shaking her nose.

"In this case," Hermione stepped forward, grabbed Jacqueline's arm, and pulled her towards the hole, "then come with us."

"Hermione Granger!" Jacqueline couldn't help roaring while her body was still in the air, "You're going to kill me."

"Or worse," as the two of them landed on a soft, slippery spot with a plop, "we might get fired."
