Dawn Redemption

Chapter 33 VIII. Barracks

After repeatedly confirming that all traces on his body disappeared under the quilt, Finn was finally able to take a bath in the bathhouse with a bucket in his normal time.

On the way to the bathhouse, Finn saw Jonas standing alone at the public phone talking in a low voice.Finn had no intention of snooping, but he caught a few words when he walked past him.

"I miss you... I can't stand it... don't... I'll tell my parents when the war is over... You said we could live together... um... yes... no It will be like this now...I want you so much..."

Finn walked quickly past Jonas and the payphone, pretending to be in a hurry.

When Rolf and Marcus stepped into the bedroom, they felt that the atmosphere was a bit strange.Finn, who had just returned from the bathhouse, was sitting on the bed reading a book in a white shirt, while Kahn and Rudy silently counted the supplies that had just been distributed. It was supposed to be very quiet in the room—but no.

On Jonas' bunk there was a - quivering - quilt.

"What is this wild cat's spring-like cry?" Rolf's expression was twisted in a weird way.

"Have we ever had an unsatisfied resentful woman die in our dormitory?" Marcus' expression was even weirder.

Finn flipped a page of the book with his fingertips, and said plainly: "I was like this when I came back, and I don't know."

Rolf and Marcus looked at each other firmly, walked to Jonas' bed, grabbed the corner of the quilt and lifted it——

Jonas squinted his eyes uncomfortably because of the sudden light, but his whole body trembled even more for a moment.Warm flushes glowed everywhere on the naked body, and beads of sweat flowed down the smooth muscle lines. One hand between curled legs, doing the kind of thing a normal man would do.And the other hand went around the back, reaching out to... somewhere where it could be reached.

This time they didn't even look at each other firmly, Rolf and Marcus put the quilt back on Jonas in unison.

Then Rolf sat back on the bed, and Marcus pulled the chair from the table and began to organize his personal belongings. So the dormitory became unusually quiet again.

Finn turned a page of the book, his eyes fixed on the densely packed text.

"Germany... Reich... Industry... Output... Average..."

He silently read the sentences in the book in his mind.

With a bang, Jonas lifted the quilt and sat up, blushing and scanning around the roommates who were doing normal things, no one was paying attention to him.Jonas calmed down, put on his pants calmly, stood up, and walked out with a towel in his hand.

"Pfft." Marcus breathed a sigh of relief. The dormitory returned to true silence.Only the sound of Finn turning the pages of the book from time to time.

"The European economy..."

"Okay. Noah von Seifert," Finn thought hard, "get out of my head."
