Whether or not Sirius was a part of Ginny's life, time continued to move forward, just like in wartime. They had met many times since that conversation in the Student Union President's dorm, and while it was hard for the two of them, it wasn't surprising. There are so many things going on around them that they can easily ignore each other.

At least that's what Ginny told herself, she'd been by Remus' side helping restore the castle.

She can also pay attention to other people's lives, so she can easily ignore things related to Sirius.A few days after the final battle, Remus told her that Tonks was pregnant. She didn't know it when she fought, and felt dizzy and nauseous afterward. Both Remus and Tonks thought she was under a long-lasting curse.Madam Pomfrey smiled happily when she discovered the real reason for Tonks' discomfort.

The handsome and gentle Remus was horrified when he learned of this.He was the first to tell Ginny.

"Sirius won't understand." His voice was almost bitter.

A werewolf, too poor to be worthy of Tonks, too dangerous for his child to be infected...but his eyes would light up at the thought of the child.Even when Remus was in grief, Ginny could tell.He just thinks he should be scared for his kid because he's a werewolf.Remus and Ginny hugged each other without saying a few words, crying and laughing.

"You're going to be a father!" she cried.

They stayed together overnight, and Tonks woke them up the next morning.Ginny didn't think she knew Tonks at all, and she giggled when Remus and Ginny looked stunned at her.Ginny decides she wants to be better friends with Tonks, the witch who is about to be the mother of her best friend's child and has her best friend's heart.

Harry told her that Ron and Hermione had kissed for the first time before the fight started. When Ron and Hermione are in public, the change between them is not very noticeable. But after Harry had spoken to her, she had noticed that they were surreptitiously watching each other, and that their fingers would occasionally touch when they were standing very close together.

After the final battle, Neville and Luna stayed by Ginny's side.Neville was tight-lipped about what happened between them and Malfoy, but she thought he would understand, he knew in his heart why she did it.He didn't judge her.Ginny felt like no one would judge her because Malfoy was a bastard who deserved what he deserved. However, Neville was there.Sirius was the other person present, and she was doing it for his sake, but she couldn't talk to him about it.

Pansy Parkinson survived the war.Harry tells Ginny that he saw her duel with Bellatrix Lestrange, who beat her and almost killed her.But Ginny saw in Harry's eyes the remaining surprise that a Slytherin who had bullied him would fight alongside him that day.Ginny told him that Parkinson was no ordinary Slytherin.Pansy also often came to the student body president's dormitory, and stayed with Ginny.Ginny was surprised that the atmosphere didn't get tense and awkward when Pansy was with the group of Gryffindors.

A few weeks later, Severus returned to Hogwarts, where he hoped to continue as Potions Master.McGonagall just nodded and put her hand on Severus' shoulder. She thought he killed her mentor, and she still didn't know how to get along with him.

The Weasley family also seems to have grown.Blushing in embarrassment, Percy mentions that he has a girlfriend.Fred and George tortured him for 10 minutes, and then Fred said he proposed to his girlfriend, Angelina Johnson. When Fred was studying at Hogwarts, the Weasleys often saw Angelina during the summer vacation, but they never knew or suspected that they were lovers.George smiled proudly beside his twin brother.

Molly and Arthur were always warmly dressed and outside together, and they relaxed again.Bill and Fleur have been traveling with Kingsley between the Ministry of Magic and Hogwarts, helping the Ministry restore order.Charlie left Hogwarts to track down the Tyrannosaurus who aided Voldemort in the war.

It's really weird though.Because the whole wizarding world is jubilantly celebrating, sending owls to those who have contributed to the final battle.Ginny received letters from friends who were not at Hogwarts, greeting her and her family and thanking her for her courage.Harry's letters were almost impossible to open.By the end, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Harry sorted them out every night. They sometimes read certain letters aloud with exaggeration, and couldn't stop laughing. These letters are truly touching. But Harry never cared about his reputation, and there were too many letters...

Ginny and Harry were less confused and more enjoyable together. He knew what had happened, and she had told him everything a few days after her conversation with Sirius. They were lying in her bed, she was talking about Fred and Angelina's engagement, and Harry was playing with her hair.Suddenly she wanted him to know. She wants him to know everything.

So she told him.He was sad at first that she had kept it from him for so long, but within 10 minutes he wanted to hear the story.Harry kept interrupting her, wide-eyed, crying and laughing at some silly thing, making her repeat it all over again. He wanted to hear more about his parents, what they were like together, the way they were together, the things they liked to do, and "Is my dad really delusional that you're going to steal his Quidditch tactics?" Or "My mom wants you to help Snape?" But there's also "My parents really love each other?" It took Ginny hours to finally get to the part about her and Sirius.

She told Harry that she and Sirius had developed a relationship during 1978 and that he had been quiet. However, when she found it difficult to continue, he encouraged her to continue. He wanted to hear her finish before making a judgment call.Ginny told him it was all over, and when they saw each other they were confused, but there was nothing between them.

When she said these words, she didn't know if she was lying to Harry.

He also accepted. He nodded, ran his hands through his hair, and after a few minutes, decided to go for a walk.It was several hours before he returned to her bedroom, with the sun rising above the horizon.Harry kissed her forehead and asked if she would mind telling him a little more about his parents.

Time still moves on.

It was midsummer when Hogwarts was almost rebuilt, and the Weasleys packed their bags and returned to the Burrow, handing over the school to the staff. Most of those who were at Hogwarts during the final battle have gone home, ready to start life anew.Ginny hugged Remus and Tonks goodbye, trying to hold back her tears.Remus smiled and rolled his eyes, wiping away a tear.

"I'll see you often," he whispered to her. "You're one of my best friends... I'm not leaving Earth."

Harry decides to get an apartment of his own in London, and Ron decides to spend the rest of the summer at The Burrow, before moving in with Harry, he says (no doubt about it, because "well, shit, what's the deal? Who's going to live with Harry? Hermione?"), savoring one last summer at home.Hermione left early to find her parents. She hadn't been back to Hogwarts, preferring to stay with her parents. But Ginny, Ron and Harry have been corresponding with her.

When Ginny was leaving Hogwarts and using Hogsmeade's Floo system to return to the Burrow, she ran into Sirius. He had been waiting in the hallway outside the President's dormitory, and Ginny thanked Merlin, only her dad was with her when they saw Sirius.Arthur nodded to Sirius, then looked at Ginny. He told her to hurry up, he would wait for her at the far end of the corridor.

She twisted her hands nervously, waiting for Sirius to speak. He seemed sad, she noticed.

"I just wanted to say goodbye," he murmured.

She knew that there would be more changes between them.Ginny knew that after she left Hogwarts, after she stepped into the real world again, she might see Sirius very little.Whether it was fate, or Sirius' intention to avoid her, she didn't know. But this was her last chance to argue with him about what kind of future they could have.

However, she had been fighting for him for months, and she found it too difficult.

"Let me know when you're ready," Ginny said softly, kissing him quickly on the cheek.

Ginny didn't say goodbye to Sirius, but picked up the suitcase and walked towards her father. She glanced back to find Sirius still standing there, one hand on his cheek, staring at the floor.

In the six years since Ginny left Hogwarts, she has only seen Sirius six times...
