[HP Doujin] take care of you
Chapter 26 Every beginning is the end of another story
Ginny forced herself not to break down. This is too difficult. But she knew that this was what Harry needed, that he was right to date Pansy, that she was right for him now and probably always would be.She was an excellent Auror, and after she and Harry broke up, they worked together.Ginny still remembered the surprise on Pansy's face when he fought alongside Harry in the final battle. Not long after they broke up, Harry and Pansy started chatting and then dating.Pansy suddenly became Harry's girlfriend.Harry and Ginny also remain friends by default. They know they won't be reunited, but they can still be friends.
Of course it was hard, and it would be foolish to think it was easy. She had hated Pansy briefly, hated that Harry had looked at Pansy the way he had looked at her.But Harry was happy again. This made it easier for Harry and Ginny to become friends again.
"He wants you to be happy," Sirius told her. "He told me, he let me know... I can do whatever I want. So can you."
Ginny looked at Sirius sharply. The alcohol was still affecting her, making it difficult for her to understand what he said. She and Harry had been separated for a year, during which she had no contact with Sirius, and he was now telling her that Harry accepted Sirius and Ginny?
"What about you and Anna?" Ginny asked softly, dreading the answer to the question.
Sirius shook his head, his messy hair covering his eyes.Ginny held her breath, feeling dizzy.
"Wouldn't it be disgusting if I said she wasn't you?"
Ginny opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
"Sorry, I shouldn't be doing this now," Sirius murmured. "I just, I kept avoiding you at the wedding because I thought I'd snatch you away if I saw you—"
"You love Anna," Ginny pointed out silently, shocked.
"I know. I'm happy with her. I don't have to think about anything, she makes me happy. But I can't tell her about my real life, magic, and my past. What's the point? I can't trust her completely , she can't accept the real me."
"You never gave her a chance," exclaimed Ginny, feeling strangely frustrated. "She may be the one you were meant to be, but you never gave her the chance."
"Ginny, do you think she doesn't know? Do you think she doesn't know that I've always had someone else in my heart, that I've been hiding something from her? She never asks, she's as scared as I am...she left me, I Didn't leave her. I don't want to go back to her either."
"But, Sirius—"
"Damn it, honey, you're going to kill me!" he exclaimed angrily, and smiled slightly.
Ginny bit her lip, but smiled as Sirius approached her.
"Kiss me," he ordered.
"I can't," Ginny said hoarsely. "I don't even know if I want to kiss you."
Sirius raised his eyebrows.
"It's my brother's wedding."
He took her hand and pulled her towards the entrance of the ballroom.Ginny followed him, glancing back nervously. No one paid any attention to their departure, everyone was drinking, laughing and dancing. She felt nervous as they walked out of the ballroom.
They came to a large corridor, and he seemed to know the building like the back of his hand.Sirius led her into a room a few doors away from the ballroom. It looks like an entertainment room, with bookshelves and sofas, and a large window showing the night sky. They entered the room, the candles were lit immediately, and Ginny turned silently to Sirius.
"I'm sorry," Ginny said softly. "I'm surprised. I haven't seen you in a year."
"More than a year." Sirius murmured, looking at her face.
"I thought you were mad at me," she continued.
"Never," he replied.
"And Harry—"
"Do you still love him?" Sirius asked her, standing motionless with his arms hanging.
"I think I'll always love him," Ginny told him, watching the shadow move on his face. "I think my love for him would be strong if I hadn't fallen in love with you."
Sirius nodded, but her answer didn't seem to worry him, but confirmed something for him.
"I always thought he was the one who was meant to be, that we would get married, everything would be fine, and I would be happy." Ginny said softly what she thought she would never say to Sirius. "But everything changed because of you. You didn't want to be with me, you told me we couldn't, you told me so."
With the wind blowing against the windows, Ginny thought she had to cry, but she couldn't.
"That was not the time."
"You told me never—"
"I was wrong! I was wrong, but you were wrong too," Sirius said to her. "You didn't give Harry the love he deserved when you were with him, and you talked yourself into doing that so you didn't have to deal with me not being with you."
Yeah?Ginny didn't know, maybe. She approached Sirius, he was still motionless, but his breathing was labored.
"I've been missing you," Ginny said softly, reaching out to stroke his cheek.
His face is smooth, he must have shaved before the wedding. He grabbed her hand and held it in his.How quickly it changed tonight. She had been sentimental at the wedding, recalling Ron telling her how he and Hermione had first met. Then they suddenly got married. She's been annoyed that Sirius didn't come to see her, and jealous of the love affairs of everyone around her.She was standing in front of Sirius at this moment, but she didn't know how she felt.
"You told me that when I'm ready, you'll be ready." Sirius let go of her hand and pulled her into his arms. "But I don't know if you're ready now."
She looked into his face with brown eyes, and he gave her a wild grin.
"Let's come a little bit."
Then he kissed her.
She suddenly stopped thinking about Harry, about what was right and wrong, about her regrets, about whether she was ready.Sirius was not cautious, he had never been a cautious person, he kissed her hard, as if to prove something.Ginny immediately put her arms around his neck and kissed him back. She pushed him against the wall, feeling that she was never close enough to him.
He let out a low growl from his throat and hugged her up.She squealed in surprise as he shifted her posture and leaned her back against the wall.Ginny wrapped her legs around him and never stopped kissing him, and she never would. She was hot all over, and she didn't resist when he pulled off the shoulder straps of her skirt and kissed the skin there. He gritted his teeth and kissed softly. She raised her head, put her hand into his hair, and was about to moan when everything changed suddenly.
Sirius staggered and fell to the ground on his back. But he was still holding on to Ginny, and she screamed and tried to steady herself with her hands. She heard him curse, and when she fell heavily to the ground, she couldn't help cursing too.Her knees and hands were burning hot.Sirius was coughing, whether it was because she was on top of him or because he fell. She climbed off him, and they lay there in silence, the only sounds being his coughing and her heavy breathing.
"I've had too much to drink," Sirius admitted. "sorry."
"Me too," she agreed after a moment.
She could still feel the alcohol throbbing in her blood after Sirius' dizzying kiss.Ginny put her head to her head with one hand, trying to collect her thoughts.
"Sirius?"
"Ok?"
"I think I need some time," she said softly. "You're right, I wasn't ready, I still... I don't know. It all happened so fast."
He looked at her, and she looked at him.It was only then that she realized that they must all look funny lying on the ground. Her knees were probably bleeding, and she knew his back would be bruised tomorrow morning.Sirius reached out and took her other hand.
"Whenever you're ready, I'll be there."
"Really? Things change, Sirius, we all know that," Ginny said softly.
Sirius made a grimace, rolled over and lay on the ground. He looked down at her with a big smile that took her breath away.
"You're crazy, dear," Sirius told her. "For me, the only thing that hasn't changed in the past twenty years is my love for you. And I think that since you risked your life for me on more than one occasion—"
"you still--"
"I think we can do it. You are still young." Seeing that she wanted to refute, he hissed her. "Not as young as I used to be, but... still young. I just need to see you. You know, when I'm drunk and around you, I do stupid things."
"I'm all for the stupid things you do," Ginny said with a smile. "You told me you loved me once when you were drunk."
"Indeed," he agreed, playing with a lock of her hair.
Ginny smiled, and bit her lower lip.She felt very peaceful, which was a good feeling.
"When you were drunk, you wanted me to change the past and marry you."
He raised his eyebrows, but he didn't seem surprised.
"My dad found us in the hallway, you were too drunk. I think it was my fourth or fifth grade." Ginny smiled at him.
"Oh, hell," he grumbled.
They both laughed, and she leaned over to kiss him, but stopped just before touching his lips.
"Do you really think we are suitable?"
He seemed to be really thinking about it, his gray eyes dimmed slightly. Then, Sirius squeezed her hand tightly, showing a smirk.
"I don't know if we're compatible. But we're so fucking close."
Ginny kissed him on the lips this time.
