[HP Doujin] take care of you
Chapter 37 Going and Returning
"I do not care."
"You obviously care."
Ginny walked over to the large chaise longue where her clothes lay in the corner, avoiding Blaise's gaze.
"He's a friend."
"I've never seen Longbottom upset you so much."
"Damn it, Zabini, let it be."
Ginny took off the shirt that Blaise had made her sleep in and changed into her own.She felt that he was looking at her, but when she turned her head, she found that he was reading a newspaper.
"Pencey once said something about you and Blake," Blaise said softly.
He looked up at her with a smug smile.
"I thought it couldn't be true. Merlin, he's old enough to be your father!"
She pulled up her pants with a flushed face, turned and pointed at him.
"Don't judge what you don't understand."
"Did he break your heart?"
Ginny tensed, Blaise noticed. He opened his mouth wide in surprise, and it took him a while to calm down.
"Really? Is there anyone else who can make you sad?"
"Zabini, shut up," Ginny hissed.
Blaise got up from his seat and walked over to her. She's struggling with the cloak.
"Why do you love such an old fool?" he whispered, brushing his fingers lightly across her cheek.
She stared at him, feeling angry. He knew nothing about her and Sirius. He didn't know Sirius at all. What is he?
"Go away," Ginny called.
He stared at her and sat down at the foot of the bed.
"You're leaving because I laughed at that lunatic with you?"
"I left because you were an asshole."
"Why, mother doesn't approve of ladies talking like that."
Ginny put away her wand and put on her shoes.
"And she wouldn't approve of you sleeping with someone who's been in Azkaban half your life. When did you and Black start dating? Ever since I've known you, it's been Potter, there's never been—"
"Brace." Ginny's voice was soft. "If you say another word about me or Sirius, I'll knock you out."
Blaise watched as Ginny walked towards the fireplace.Without looking back at him, she dropped the floo powder and left.
Once back in the apartment, Ginny went to the desk and opened a drawer. It was full of letters, which she had kept for many years. She reached out and grabbed a handful of letters, then sat down on the ground.Always so hard, always.Although he had long since stopped writing to her, she could still dream of him.She could still hear his voice. She could see Teddy in his movements. She felt him with everyone, as if he was the missing member of the group.
She still loved him, and it made her very sad.

Chamber of death.
That's what they called a room with curtains, and Sirius, sitting on a stone bench, knew why. There was nothing uncomfortable about this large, dark room. His stomach clenched at the sight of the curtain.
Sirius licked his lips, staring at the archway. The last time he'd been here was after Ginny had saved him, he couldn't remember. He came back unconscious from the veil.Severus Snape saved his life.Thinking of this, he frowned. The last time it was his bloody cousin who cursed him, he fell into the archway. He is here again now.But this time there was no fight. There was no rescue either.
He came here to do something extremely stupid.Sirius held his head in his hands and closed his eyes tightly.Abigail, the witch from Florence, tells him time and time again that the only way to lift the curse on him is to re-enter the Veil. But it was crazy, and even the Reticent didn't want him to do it.It was a miracle to escape once.It is impossible to actively re-enter and plan to escape.
Sirius resisted the urge to obey Abigail. What if he was trapped in the veil forever? What if he never saw Harry, Remus, Teddy, Tonks or Ginny again? Then he realized that if he didn't re-enter the Veil, he wouldn't see Ginny either.
He had thought he could move on with his life after finding out Ginny was dating someone else.Sirius had tried dating, tried kissing girls, pretended everything was okay. This approach did work for a while. He feels better. But in the dead of night, he would think of Ginny. After all these years, he could only think of Ginny.Somehow, he knew she was thinking of him too.
It wasn't difficult for Sirius to get into the Ministry of Magic and the Department of Mysteries. After all, Sirius had been working with the Reticent Man for so long, and he was a Reticent Man too. When he entered the death chamber, he had made up his mind. But seeing the veil, he stopped.Although he was far away from the Veil, he could still hear whispers.
He wondered how long it took him to stand up and walk towards the veil. 10 minutes, an hour, a whole day.But he ended up doing it anyway.Sirius approached slowly, brushing the hair off his face.
"I should say goodbye to Harry and Teddy," he said softly to himself. "I should go see Remus..."
Sirius shook his head and stopped a few steps away from the curtain. It fluttered like a breeze, but Sirius couldn't feel it.
The whispers seemed to grow louder.
"I should really..."
Sirius walked to the curtain, his voice gradually lowered. The whispers were loud, but he couldn't understand what they meant. He leaned forward, wondering why a voice sounded so familiar, wondering what the voice was saying. For of all the whispering voices, he knew this one.It made his blood boil, and he leaned forward again, and he was now so close to the veil that he could enter easily.
"It's okay, Padfoot. Everything will be fine."
Sirius blinked.
"Prongs?"
Sirius was instantly sure, and re-entered the veil.

"Ginny? Ginny, wake up."
Ginny sighed, burying her face in the pillow.
"I'm still asleep," she murmured.
As long as her eyes are closed, she can easily fall asleep again. If only James would stop bothering her.
"Ginny, wake up."
"Don't be annoying, James!" Ginny pulled the covers up to her chin, her eyes tightly closed, not wanting to open them.
"Ginny, go find Sirius. He needs you."
Ginny threw back the quilt and sat up angrily on the bed, with anger in her eyes.
"James, get away from me!"
She stopped and looked at the dark, empty bedroom, the anger gone.Ginny opened her mouth wide in surprise, and picked up her wand to light up the room. She was sure James had been talking to her, as if he was whispering in her ear.For a moment, she thought she was back at Hogwarts and the marauders were bothering her with nonsense.
Ginny got out of bed and looked around the room. She really felt that James was hiding there. But this is impossible.James is dead. She must be dreaming. But……
"James?" she said softly. "James, are you...are you there?"
Ginny took a step forward, then stopped. She could hear voices outside the room.Gripping her wand tightly, Ginny slowly opened the bedroom door and looked out.Seeing two figures standing before her fireplace, she cried out.
"Remus! Harry! Merlin, what are you doing here?"
Both Harry and Remus looked dressed hastily, their eyes still bright despite the late night.Remus rushed forward, gripping Ginny's arms tightly with both hands.
"Ginny, are you okay?"
Ginny nodded, confused by the anxiety in his voice.
"Of course I'm fine, I was sleeping just now." Ginny looked at Harry behind Remus. "What are you two doing here? What time is it?"
Maybe she heard them floo into her apartment, not James.Remus dragged her to Harry's side.
"That sounds crazy," Harry said slowly. "but……"
He stopped and ran his hands through his hair nervously.
"What's the matter, Harry?"
"I heard my mother talking to me."
Ginny stared at Harry dumbfounded. He heard Lily's voice?
"I know. I'm just... weird, I was in a deep sleep, and then I heard her voice... She woke me up and told me to go find Remus."
Harry stopped again, shrugging helplessly.
"So I did."
Ginny frowned at Remus.Remus shrugged too.
"You were the first thing I thought of when he told me what he heard," Remus said. "I thought you were hurt, or something happened, so we came over from my house."
"It could be some weird dream I'm having. But she sounds eager." Harry trailed off, running his hands through his hair again. "From what I've been dreaming about, I just think I need to go to Remus. And he wants to come and see you."
Rubbing her arms, Ginny turned away from Remus and Harry.Harry heard Lily tell him to go find Remus?Just as she was awakened by James' voice, both men came to her apartment.
"I heard James' voice," Ginny confessed softly. "Just before you came."
"You heard my dad's voice?" Harry said excitedly, and Ginny turned to look at him.
She bit her lip and nodded.
"What did James say to you, Ginny?" Remus asked in surprise.
Ginny closed her eyes, trying to remember. He wanted her to wake up because... because he wanted her to go to Sirius.
"Ginny, go find Sirius. He needs you."
Ginny burst into the bedroom. She was just changing from her pajamas into a shirt and trousers when Remus walked in, followed by Harry.
"what are you doing?"
"Ginny, what did James say?" Remus snapped again.
He grabbed her and made her stop. She looked at Remus and realized she was panting, fear in her eyes.
"He sent me to Sirius. James said Sirius needed me."
Remus changed his countenance and backed away from Ginny. He looked alarmed, and Ginny nodded in agreement.
"Where is he? Where does he live?" she asked, angry that she didn't know the answer herself.
"He's been staying out of London," said Harry. "Let's go, I know where he is!"
"No, no." Remus shook his head. "Oh no."
Harry and Ginny, who had already walked out of the bedroom, stopped.Ginny felt her stomach tighten.
"What's wrong?" She walked towards Remus. "Remus, what's wrong?"
"He's in London," Remus said softly. "I'm afraid I know exactly where he is. We must hurry."
But Ginny stopped Remus. She looked at her friend and felt sick.Because deep down she knew exactly where Sirius was.Her intuition told her where he is now...
"He's back in the veil."
"You obviously care."
Ginny walked over to the large chaise longue where her clothes lay in the corner, avoiding Blaise's gaze.
"He's a friend."
