[HP Doujin] take care of you
Chapter 44 Ending
They continued walking toward the back of the Burrow.Ginny could hear Tonks excitedly telling Charlie about Teddy's new start at the Ministry.Sirius paused, looking for his godson, and Ginny took a deep breath of summer air.The air smelled of daisies and pies, freshly cut grass and children.Speaking of kids...
"Dad!" Aurora threw herself at her father, who barely had time to wrap her in his arms.
Sirius kissed his daughter on the head, and even though she was eight years old, he held her and went to find Harry together.
"Honey, how are you today?" Ginny heard Sirius ask Aurora when someone caught her attention.
"Oh shit," Molly murmured as she narrowed her eyes.
"Genevia Weasley!" cried Molly, rushing forward. "You're late! Late to Harry's party! Oh hello, Sirius."
Sirius nodded to Molly. The feud between the two has long since been ironed out, but they have never been particularly close.
"You know it's Wesley's appointment today, Mom," said Ginny, trying not to make a whimpering sound.
If Molly was in a bad mood because of Ginny, she'd be bugging her all afternoon about it.It was Harry's party, and Ginny would rather have a good time with her friends and family than curse the bad timing of the appointment.
However, hearing Ginny's words, Molly's eyes softened a lot.
"Yes, I know," said Molly. She looked lovingly at Aurora in Sirius' arms, and said, "Honey, I'm sorry the therapist didn't bring good news."
Ginny raised her eyebrows.
"Who told you?" Ginny paused. "Tristan?"
Molly nodded, and hurriedly reached out to wipe her eyes. Ginny suspected that she was wiping tears.
"Harry! Happy Birthday!"
Ginny was distracted by Sirius' shouting. She turned to see Sirius walking towards Harry, with Ron, Hermione and Pansy beside him.Ginny looked at Molly again, and hugged her.Molly hugged her too, then let go.
"Go say hello to Harry, dear."
Ginny smiled at Molly and walked towards the group. As soon as Harry saw Ginny, he put his arms around her.She smiled on his chest, then let him go and hugged Pansy.
"Happy birthday, Harry."
"Thank you." He smiled. "I think you may have given me the best birthday present ever - babysitting."
Pansy raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, really, Potter?"
Ron laughed, and Harry's face was almost as red as Ron's ears.Harry rolled his eyes, but was still grinning.
"Pansy got me a nice present, too," Harry admitted slyly.
Pansy blinked at him, and Sirius smiled and shook his head.
"What? What is it?" Aurora asked after being put down by Sirius.
Harry must not have realized she was there, he blushed instantly.Ron laughed so hard his stomach hurt from laughing.
"A good book," said Hermione, and no one answered as the other adults laughed at Harry's embarrassment.
Aurora narrowed her eyes, but she didn't press the question.
"Go on, Rory," Ginny told her. "Go find your brothers."
"I hate playing with those boys." Aurora kicked the dirt on the ground and walked away complaining.
"Go find Lily!" Harry yelled when he had calmed down.
Ron snorted and wiped his eyes.
"She really sounds like you, Kim."
"I loved playing with you guys when I was a kid! You didn't like taking me with you," cried Ginny, poking Ron on the shoulder.
The adults walked to a wooden table that had already been set.Ron straightened his legs and nearly tripped over a kid who was running up.Ginny thought it was Lee Jordan's daughter, but she wasn't sure.Hermione covered her mouth and gasped, and the little girl who almost tripped continued to run away.
"Oh shit, I'm sorry!" Ron yelled at the little girl, but she ignored him.
At family gatherings, Pansy still liked to sit next to Ginny, and she leaned toward her friend.
"Have you seen Severus?" she asked quietly.
Ginny was so animated that she forgot that Severus had finally come to the Weasleys' party.
"No, where is he?" Ginny looked around the yard, sure she could see the gloomy aura that often accompanied Severus when he was out in public.
"With Olga and your youngest son." Pansy pointed to the other side of the yard.
Ginny smirked, not surprised Severus had Gebe with him.
"Honey, I think we have to go, or Molly will break our necks." Sirius walked behind her and whispered in her ear.
While she listened to him, he brushed the curls from her shoulders and stroked her neck with his thumb.
"Okay, okay," she grumbled.
They waved to everyone.Harry has become attracted to Dean Thomas, who is trying to convince Harry to attend a football match.Ginny took a deep breath and braced herself to face the large group of Weasleys.
The first person she saw was Angelina, standing by a table of food.Angelina was, as expected, with George and Fred, rubbing her hand over her big belly. She had an unexpected pregnancy after giving birth to her only son Artie with Fred 14 years ago.The twins showed Sirius their newest gadget, Ginny felt Angelina's baby move, and they headed off to another group.Percy stood with Kingsley and Bill, and they hugged and kissed and shook hands and laughed. They didn't stay long before they came to a large table full of women and children.
"The chicken coop," Sirius whispered in her ear.
Ginny tried her best not to laugh as they walked past.Hannah had shed her St. Mungo's uniform and was playing with Wesley and Percy's youngest daughter, Lucy.Fleur is teaching her two youngest children not to stain their clothes.James and Artie waited impatiently for Fleur to finish so they could resume their fight with the other two children.Percy's wife, Audrey, was rocking a child that Ginny thought was Lavender Brown—or Lavender Longbottom's.Ginny shook her head.It was so hard to remember these newborns, there were already so many kids.Lavender talks aloud to Luna about an article she read in the paper this week, while Luna stares absently into the distance.
The women whispered to Sirius and hugged Ginny tightly.Sirius answered their questions: his job, the new book Hermione had helped him write, Tristan's first year at school.Ginny stood beside Audrey, rocking Lavender's baby.Ginny was rocking her baby to sleep not so long ago.She sighed, catching Sirius' gaze.Sirius didn't spend much time with women, preferring to stay at home, with his children or his close friends. She knew this, so she nodded in Remus and Severus' direction.
"Ladies, we've got to keep walking, we haven't seen everyone yet," Sirius said. "We'll be back."
Fleur waved to Sirius, and finally let her children go.Now that James and Artie's friends were back, they ran away from the group of women almost as quickly as Sirius.
"Don't pretend you don't like their compliments," Ginny teased, nudging Sirius.
He glared at her.
"Most of them are half my age." He put his hands in his pockets and said gruffly.
"I'm half your age, darling," Ginny pointed out as they walked up to Severus, Remus and Auriga.
Sirius smiled and shook his head.
"You are different."
Hearing his words, she narrowed her eyes, and he smiled shyly at her.Ginny would never get used to the amount of affection Sirius poured into her.She thinks it's because he's suppressed his feelings for her for too long.Ginny was never a particularly romantic person, and the irony is that she married a total romantic — at least he was romantically romantic towards her.
"Siris! Ginny! Here you come!"
Remus kissed Ginny on the cheek, then hugged Sirius.Ginny had seen Remus during her lunch break that day, but she knew that the two men hadn't seen each other for at least a few days.
"Ah, old man!" Sirius put his arm around Remus' shoulder. "You look great, absolutely fabulous—"
"roll--"
Ginny turned to Severus and Origa while her husband and best friend continued their banter.Origa is a professor of astronomy at Hogwarts.Ginny had been teaching at Hogwarts since her first year, and at some point she caught Severus' attention.Ginny always felt that Olga looked like Hermione to some extent, with thick hair and a nerdy personality. But she has dark auburn hair and bright blue eyes.
"Hello, Origa." Ginny greeted her with a friendly smile. "Sev, how's Gabe?"
Hearing what his mother said, Gebe looked up.The little boy is playing on the grass and keeps cutting the grass.
"Mom!" Gabe called. "look!"
He threw the grass into the air and it rained down on him.
"He's good at throwing things at himself," Severus said with a wrinkle. "Your boy is brilliant, Stiles."
"Dad!" Aurora threw herself at her father, who barely had time to wrap her in his arms.
Sirius kissed his daughter on the head, and even though she was eight years old, he held her and went to find Harry together.
