[HP Doujin] take care of you

Chapter 47 Extra Story: The Library

She was trying to ignore him.She really tried and failed.Sirius was sitting at a nearby table, and although his voice was low, it still rang in her ears.Ginny sighed through her nose, concentrating on the book in front of her.It didn't matter that he stayed close to her, pretended she didn't exist, and talked to two Ravenclaw girls like no one else. It's a silly little game they play - they play it all the time.

Avoiding any real emotion, kissing in hidden closets, pretending all is well during the day.Everything is really good.

Anyway, Halloween is over, and she's lost her freedom.Quidditch practice and homework became increasingly demanding. She hardly saw anyone, not even Emily, Dorcas and Marlene who slept in the same room as her.She should concentrate on her homework instead of thinking about Sirius Black.Homework is more important.

Ginny cleared her throat and focused on the book in front of her.

When Sirius quieted down, she noticed right away.Ginny couldn't help looking at where he had been sitting just now.The girls are still there, laughing softly as they do their homework.where is he?

"Who are you looking for?"

Startled, Ginny turned her head, cursing herself for being spotted.Sirius stood there with his arms folded, a smug smile on his face.

"I'm just glad it's quieter," she replied, raising her eyebrows, and Sirius sat down across from her without permission.

But when did he ask permission before doing something?

"We're in the library after all," said Ginny, waving her hand as if to emphasize the bookshelves around them.

Sirius smiled and shook his head.

"Tell me you miss me."

Hearing his words, she bowed her head and smiled, and started pretending to read the book in front of her again.

"I don't want to lie to you, Sirius," she told him.

As soon as she finished speaking, his trademark laughter followed, so loud that the girls at the next table all looked sideways.Ginny bit her lip to keep from laughing with him.

"We haven't had time to be alone for a long time," he complained.

"If we had time to be alone, what would we do?"

Ginny said this slowly, raising her eyebrows on purpose.Sirius' stormy gray eyes dimmed.

"You can do whatever you want, baby," Sirius replied in a low voice.

He reached out and grabbed her wrist across the table. His thumb pressed against the pulse in her soft wrist. Then, he released her wrist, and his long fingers danced on her hand as light as a butterfly.

"Siris—" Her voice was hoarse to her own ears.

Sirius leaned back in his chair, eyebrows raised.

"But I know you're busy." He interrupted her, pointing to the homework in front of her. "Just let me know when you're free. Maybe we can make an appointment?"

He stood up and ran his hands over the front of his shirt, as if trying to erase the wrinkles.Ginny looked at him blankly, and he smiled at her, then turned and left.As he left, he waved to the Ravenclaw girls at the next table.

She really hates this game they play.
