#594 - Magneto meets Hyperion
Might Princess left as silently as she had come, without any of the mutants noticing her departure.
No one knew what she and Magneto had discussed, except for Yang Le who had been eavesdropping. He had to admit that the content of their discussion was indeed shocking.
Might Princess, like Wonder Woman, came from a small, secluded island nation, called Amazon in the DC universe and Utopia in the Marvel universe.
Like Amazon, Utopia was also a nation of female warriors, with the same traditional system.
In her conversation with Magneto, Might Princess admitted her affection for Hyperion and confessed that, after years of fighting for humanity, she had witnessed enough ugliness.
Might Princess believed that if they continued with the current system, even if she and Hyperion grew old and died, human society would not evolve into a Utopia, and sin and evil would continue to breed.
"There must be a leader to guide the world," Might Princess said.
Clearly, Hyperion was the leader she deemed qualified. Might Princess was prepared to fully assist Hyperion in becoming the leader of all humanity, even at the risk of endangering herself by infiltrating the territory of the mutants, who were recently their enemies.
Perhaps Magneto was intrigued by the mutant registry Might Princess mentioned, he showed great interest in the collaboration, stating that as long as Might Princess could get Hyperion to agree, he would agree to a temporary alliance with the Supreme Squadron.
Might Princess confidently stated that she could definitely persuade Hyperion, and the two agreed to meet again the following night.
The location was set on a deserted island in the Atlantic Ocean, and each side could only send one person. The mutant side designated Magneto, while the Supreme Squadron side had to be Hyperion.
Thus, the first meeting ended with both sides satisfied. Specific cooperation details would be discussed in detail when the leaders met the following night.
Having eavesdropped on the entire process, Yang Le now only wanted to quickly transmit the information to his other self outside. This alliance between the mutants and the Supreme Squadron was likely to have a significant impact on the world.
However, he couldn't act rashly now. Magneto was still on the island, and due to his abilities, Yang Le's current communication methods could be detected by him.
Not just now, but even before when Magneto was still normal, Yang Le would always find various excuses to go out and only dared to contact others after leaving Mutant Island.
However, this excuse was no longer valid because, due to the establishment of the mutant nation, Magneto had temporarily prohibited all mutants from leaving Mutant Island, ostensibly to prevent any unforeseen events.
In the eyes of the mutants, this order was nothing unusual. After all, most of the mutants on Mutant Island were unwilling to return to the environment that had harmed them. Even Scott and the others would not go out unless it was necessary.
Only Yang Le, the fake mutant, was complaining endlessly. If there were no special circumstances, he didn't want to expose his identity as an undercover agent, as it was a very rare and stable source of information.
To this end, Yang Le made a decision. Tomorrow night, Magneto would leave the island again after many days. He could take advantage of that time to transmit the information.
"I just hope there won't be any major problems," Yang Le sighed. Perhaps due to the long-term rural life and the influence of the Swampfire's DNA, Yang Le's clone felt that he was becoming increasingly averse to fighting.
Of course, it might also be because he was afraid that these mutants would be affected.
Looking at Li Qianhuan, who was secretly picking strawberries in the field, Yang Le couldn't help but shake his head. Because of the tree connected to all the plants on the island, every plant connected to the soil here was his eyes.
Li Qianhuan, who thought she was hiding very well, naturally couldn't escape his eyes, but he didn't stop her. Not to mention that he could freely command the fruits to grow and ripen. As long as Yang Le was willing, he could make the fruits grow back as soon as Li Qianhuan picked them.
Moreover, Li Qianhuan didn't steal these fruits for her own enjoyment. She usually only picked a few, kept one for herself, and shared the rest with others.
Besides, what's wrong with a child being a little greedy?
"I wonder how long this peace will last," Yang Le disconnected from the tree, changed his posture, leaned against the tree trunk, and waited for the opportunity to arrive.
Time flies, always passing by unnoticed, especially when you find something to do.
Having nothing to do, Yang Le did not abuse his abilities, but honestly walked and inspected all the crops on the island. By the time he finished this work, it was already the evening of the next day.
Leaning against the big tree, Yang Le connected to Magneto's treehouse, using it as his eyes, Yang Le silently watched Magneto explaining things to Scott.
After the latter exhorted some things, he pushed the door and left the treehouse, then rose from the ground and flew away, apparently going to keep the appointment.
Yang Le did not take it lightly. He kept watching Magneto until he could no longer see his figure, and then carefully checked every corner of the island before finally feeling relieved and preparing to implement his plan.
Yang Le first left a clone composed of plants, just like the last time he fought the Supreme Squadron, and then used his main body to drill into the ground and swam from the soil to the bottom of Mutant Island.
After wrapping his whole body in mud, Yang Le drilled out from the bottom of Mutant Island, like an ordinary piece of mud falling into the sea.
"Plop!"
Yang Le, who fell into the water, slowly sank, and finally changed back to his original form at about the same position, and began to swim to the nearest island.
Although he had to be careful, Yang Le didn't need to swim to another version of himself. He could swim to an island farther away from Mutant Island and then contact him with a communication device.
...
Hyperion looked at the island not far away. Without too much effort, he could see Magneto standing on the beach waiting for him. It seemed that he had not flown in the wrong direction.
Controlling his speed to descend slowly, Hyperion slowly landed behind Magneto and said, "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"Not too long," Magneto turned around. "It's just that I'm used to coming out earlier."
After a brief greeting, Hyperion hesitated for a moment and then spoke.
"I'm here to express my attitude. I don't want to be the king who can rule the Earth. I just want to regulate the superhumans around the world."
"However, I am still willing to help you, after all, if the mutant country is really established, it can also share a lot of the pressure from the superhumans."
This idea had already appeared in Hyperion's mind. It could be said that, apart from refusing to be king, another thing he came here for was to communicate with Magneto about the issue of the mutants' stay.
