The Little Superman of Hogwarts
#109 - Chapter 109 [Hermione is petrified]
Harry Potter was wandering through the corridors under his Invisibility Cloak. He had just returned from Hagrid's hut, which was now quite different—Hagrid was keeping the small dragon in the Forbidden Forest. For the time being, no one knew it was already half-man tall, about the size of a sheep.
Harry and Ron hadn't told anyone else, and they would sometimes take the time to go and see it. At this moment, Harry was quietly sneaking back from the Forbidden Forest.
Because it was almost curfew, the corridors were very quiet, with only the crackling of the torches and the sound of drafts.
Suddenly, he heard a sound—a sound completely different from the crackling of the torches. It was a voice, a chilling, breath-stopping, cold, and malicious voice.
"Come… come… let me tear you… tear you apart… kill you…"
Harry jumped.
"Who?!"
He staggered to a halt, grabbed the stone wall, and listened intently, looking around, squinting as he searched up and down the dimly lit corridor.
But the voice quickly disappeared, and Harry mistook it for his own illusion, but the gloomy and harsh voice was impressive.
Harry felt it shouldn't be an illusion. He couldn't help but think of Voldemort—these past few months, he had been practicing the Patronus Charm. Although he couldn't release a Patronus yet, he could already create a large patch of light.
He released the Patronus Charm, and he seemed to feel much better.
At the same time, Klee, who was already lying in bed, suddenly heard something with his super hearing.
An extremely gloomy and hoarse voice was speaking. The voice was extremely distant because of the magical barrier of Hogwarts. The voice was already extremely weak here. Klee listened carefully and barely heard a few words:
"Let me tear you… tear you apart… kill you…" Klee instantly felt a sense of foreboding. Wasn't this the Basilisk's line?
Klee was puzzled. He didn't have Parseltongue blood, so he shouldn't be able to understand the Basilisk's voice at all.
Just as he was puzzled and didn't know why the Basilisk's voice would be transmitted to him.
The next second, Klee heard Hermione's voice through [Telepathy]:
[Klee, save me! Save…] The voice stopped abruptly!
Klee shot out of bed, and then he recalled Ginny, who hadn't been quite right just now, and instantly became a little angry.
It seemed that Ginny had opened the bathroom after all!
He didn't know if Hermione was in danger! In the original work, Hermione saw the Basilisk with a mirror in her hand. If she looked directly at the Basilisk now, she might die!!
Hermione! Wait for me!
Klee suddenly felt an explosive force in his heart. His body flew out of the window and ran along the wall, rushing towards the girls' bathroom—Moaning Myrtle's bathroom—at near the speed of sound. It was located between the third and second floors.
This was a bathroom in a special location, so very few people came here. Therefore, in the original work, its location would be changed from time to time—it was between the second and third floors, so you could consider it the third floor, or you could consider it the second floor.
Just as he was about to walk into the bathroom, something very unexpected happened. A nameless suction force suddenly erupted from the inside, absorbing a large amount of life force and other power! This suction force came very quickly and very fiercely, but the suction force left even faster. It disappeared in just a few tens of milliseconds. Klee only felt that something had been sucked out of his body.
Klee's pace slowed down for a second because of this. He took a breath and then pushed open the door to the bathroom.
"Hermione!" Klee shouted.
The scene inside made Klee a little angry—Hermione stood blankly next to the sink, Ginny sat blankly on the ground. Ginny's eyes were still moving, she was perfectly fine, but Hermione couldn't even move a strand of hair—she was petrified!
Hearing Klee's shout, Ginny also seemed to recover from her sluggish state. She instantly burst into tears and shouted loudly: "Hermione! Wake up! I won't test you anymore! No!!!"
Klee tested Hermione's breathing and heartbeat—sure enough, both her breathing and heartbeat had completely stopped, but Klee could feel that Hermione was not dead. Her soul was also frozen, deep in her mind!
Thank Merlin! Klee couldn't help but feel a little excited. She was just petrified—the soul of a dead person would be squeezed out of the body.
Klee turned his head and saw Ginny crying while hugging Hermione…
[Killing the Holy Mother in a Chaotic World]—These words suddenly popped into Klee's mind. He really wanted to blow Ginny's head off with one punch—but thinking that Ginny was now Hermione's few female friends, even one and only bestie, he instantly calmed down.
"What did you do? Tell me quickly!" Klee dragged Ginny up from the ground and looked at Ginny's eyes coldly.
Ginny's height was only a little over 1.4 meters at this time, while Klee was now as tall as 1.8 meters! Ginny was lifted into the air by Klee, who was grabbing the clothes around her chest, like a little quail.
"Tom tricked me, I… I just opened the passage." Ginny's eyes were blurred, not knowing where to start.
But Klee knew the plot well and instantly guessed what Ginny meant. He rummaged through Ginny's jacket pocket, and a diary appeared in his hand, with a name written on the cover—Tom Marvolo Riddle!
"It really is you!" Klee glared fiercely at the diary. Voldemort was really an annoying character. He only ignored it for a few days, and it immediately caused major damage!
"Voldemort, I'll make you regret this!!!" Klee said fiercely to the diary, then stuffed the diary into his pocket, held Hermione in one hand, and dragged Ginny's clothes in the air with the other, like he was carrying a chick, and left the bathroom.
He ran all the way, and neither Hermione, whom he was holding, nor Ginny, whom he was carrying, struggled at all. Hermione couldn't move, and Ginny was sad.
Rushing into the school hospital, Klee shouted loudly.
"Madam Pomfrey!" Klee quickly said: "Hurry up and take a look at her! She's been petrified!"
Madam Pomfrey was obviously doing something else, but after hearing this cry for help, she immediately put down her work and rested for a while.
"Merlin's beard!" Madam Pomfrey quickly gave Hermione's body a preliminary examination.
"The situation is terrible, but she's not beyond saving." Madam Pomfrey finally said.
Hearing this, Ginny's ears pricked up instantly.
"That is to say, Hermione didn't actually see the Basilisk with her own eyes." Klee muttered to himself: "That's not right! Ginny didn't say that!"
