This Hogwarts isn't normal.

#982 - Padfoot and Moony are back

Vincent yawned as he walked into the Great Hall on Sunday morning.

He was a little late, and most of the students had already finished breakfast.

His friends were all there, and they looked just as listless as he felt.

"It's all Snape's fault," Fred grumbled, shaking his head to try and wake himself up. "Today's research mission is a bust. George, let's just go back to sleep after breakfast."

George hummed softly in agreement, his eyes slowly closing.

"George?"

With a "thud," George's forehead slammed heavily onto his blueberry jam-covered toast.

He jolted upright, staring blankly at Fred with his face smeared with jam.

"Pwahahaha—"

George nonchalantly ignored the jam on his face, picking up the flattened toast and taking a bite.

Fred laughed so hard he slapped the table. "I can't... my stomach hurts..."

Vincent and the others followed the sound of laughter and were amused by George's new look.

Today, Hogwarts gained another "Smurf" campus legend.

After such a commotion, everyone's sleepiness dissipated by eighty percent.

The twins finished breakfast and cheerfully sat down next to Vincent.

"Mate, Snape ruined last night's party. Let's continue tonight."

Vincent considerately handed George a stack of napkins. "Tomorrow is Monday, we can't party too late."

Fred said with some regret, "True, judging by Snape's look last night, he'll definitely be watching us closely these days."

George wiped most of the blueberry jam off his face. "We can have the party outside the castle. The Forbidden Forest is so big, and the old bat can't really fly. He can't catch us."

Fred's eyes lit up. "Good idea!"

Vincent shrugged at Hermione, who was sitting across from him, and raised his right hand high. "I'm in favor. Jormungandr is about to hibernate, we can bring it some food."

Hermione thought for a moment and also raised her hand in agreement.

The dream car's design couldn't be completed in a day or two. Snape forcibly ended last night's party before she could fully enjoy it, and she was still feeling a little down.

With four little lions out of the seven voting in favor, the remaining badger, eagle, and snake naturally wouldn't object.

The group went to the kitchen, full of energy, and walked towards the Forbidden Forest, chatting and laughing, after leaving the castle.

As they passed the Beauxbatons carriage, the Delacour sisters were just getting off.

They had originally planned to sit in the club activity room, but when they heard the seven little ones were going to have a party in the Forbidden Forest, they didn't hesitate and decisively chose to join.

"Shall we invite Harry and little Ronnie?"

"What about Sirius? Let's invite him and Professor Lupin too."

After a video call, Sirius Black and Lupin both agreed to come.

They temporarily put aside their work and secretly slipped into the Forbidden Forest from the tunnel near the Whomping Willow near noon.

Having not seen them for over a month, the twins hopped over and hugged them.

"Sirius, you were so awesome yesterday! You made those pure-blood old men bleed so much money in just a few moves."

Sirius couldn't stand their enthusiasm and seemed a little uncomfortable.

Lupin responded warmly, "Do you know? Padfoot received another love letter this morning. I secretly peeked at it, and it seems like it was from old Shafiq's daughter."

Sirius's face turned red with anxiety. "Shut up! Remus, she wrote to ask about our collaboration. Do you even know how old old Shafiq is?"

"Then why was her envelope pink? And it was sprayed with perfume."

Sirius's face darkened instantly. "Remus, no bonus for you next month."

Lupin coughed. "Um, I think I misremembered. It really didn't seem like a love letter."

The children were amused by him and laughed, even Jormungandr, who was curled up in a ball, grinned and trembled.

Sirius shook his head helplessly. "I knew I shouldn't have come. There are still many things to do at the factory."

He paused, looking meaningfully at Harry. "By the way, Harry, how have you been considering that matter?"

The children all turned to look at Harry.

That matter? Which matter?

Could it be related to the Prongs brand?

Sirius is Padfoot, Lupin is Moony, and Harry's father, James, is Prongs.

Using this name for the new brand seems to be more than just a way to commemorate their best friend.

Except for the Delacour sisters and Cho, everyone, including Ron, looked at Sirius in surprise.

Harry looked conflicted but didn't hesitate for long. "Godfather, I've thought it over carefully, and I'm afraid I can't accept your gift."

Sirius nodded lightly, taking out a bottle of pure Scotch whiskey from his cellar. "Let's not talk about that. Haven't you always wanted to taste alcohol?"

The bottle was made of particularly rough glass, and the label was yellowed and faded, making it impossible to tell what brand it was.

But judging from the appearance of the bottle and the cloudy sediment at the bottom of the liquor, it was at least older than the first batch of Gamp's Aged Interdimensional Ale brewed by the Leaky Cauldron.

Lupin sighed and smiled wryly. "Please, they're just kids, they can't handle this stuff."

Sirius pretended not to hear and set up the ice bucket and glasses.

"What are you all standing around for? Aren't we having a party?"

The twins stood up with a whoop. "Good wine must be paired with good food! Chef Diggory, it's your turn to perform!"

Cedric rolled up his sleeves and walked towards the pile of ingredients they were constantly pulling out.

The Delacour sisters and Cho went to help, while Daphne, Hermione, and Vincent set up a makeshift kitchen.

Seeing that everyone was busy, Harry and Ron were embarrassed to sit still.

Sirius handed a glass of wine to Lupin. "So nostalgic."

Lupin clinked glasses with him lightly. "To be honest, I'm a little envious of these kids."

They were all just looking for fun, but they didn't do it by hurting others.

As a werewolf, Lupin was the kindest of the four.

"Rumble—" The ground suddenly trembled slightly.

Sirius looked at the ripples in the whiskey in his hand as if it was a common occurrence. "It's so lively today. Judging by the commotion, it's quite far away."

The Forbidden Forest, especially the extremely diverse Forbidden Forest, having tremors like an earthquake every now and then was perfectly normal.

However, it usually only lasted for a moment or two, but this time it took a long time to stop, and it would come again from time to time.

"That's strange, it's never been like this in previous years."

"Probably Aragog's offspring are planning to have a good winter this year."

The frequency of the ground shaking did sound like hundreds of Acromantulas moving together.

Everyone didn't pay too much attention and continued to work on their tasks.
