Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me
Chapter 29: 3 People You Shouldn't Provoke
Down the west tower is the eighth floor of Hogwarts, and the Room of Requirement is also on the eighth floor.
Since there was still some time before lunch time, Amanta planned to go find the location of the Room of Requirement.
However, as soon as they stepped out of the West Tower, they encountered one of the most unfortunate things that could happen to Hogwarts students.
whoosh-
Something flew towards me, accompanied by a sharp sound as it broke through the air.
Amanta subconsciously dodged to the left.
Snapped--
Behind her, Draco's face froze.
He stared down at himself blankly, as if he couldn't believe what he saw.
His brand new white shirt and tie were all stained with red ink.
The ink bottle fell to the ground and broke into pieces with a bang. Peeves, who was wearing a flowered shirt and a red and blue suit, laughed out loud, holding his belly.
"Hahahahaha! Look at how frightened this freshman is. Do you like the floral school uniform I specially made for you?"
Peeves flew around them several times with a smile, holding a box of chalk in his hand and smashing it on their heads.
“Now try this!”
He raised his arms and threw the pieces of chalk at their heads one by one.
It was too bad that they ran into the toughest Peeves on their first day.
Amanta held her head and dodged left and right, trying to cast a few spells, but Peeves dodged left and right flexibly and kept making laughing sounds.
Amanta glanced and saw Draco still standing there in a daze, not reacting at all after being hit by the chalk several times.
She had no choice but to pull Draco up and run forward.
"Run!"
Peeves pulled the wool rug from under their feet.
Amanta and Draco both fell to the ground.
Amanta fell to the ground with her face on the ground, and Draco didn't look much better.
Amanta covered her nose and shouted loudly: "Peeves, if you play tricks on us again, we will go back and tell the Bloody Baron!"
Peeves is most afraid of Slytherin's ghost, the Bloody Barrow, but Amanta is not sure such a threat would work.
But as soon as she finished her words, Peeves disappeared into thin air.
His shrill laughter still echoed in the air.
"Hahahaha-"
Amanta just breathed a sigh of relief and was about to get up from the ground when a creepy cough came from the intersection behind her.
"Cough cough..."
Filch, the Hogwarts's caretaker, rolled his cloudy eyes and looked at them with a malicious smile.
"Nowadays, freshmen...just like to play with these things. They don't like to go to class and throw the professor's things around...haha, right?"
"No, it was Peeves just now..."
Amanta argued.
"Peeves! Peeves again!" Filch grumbled impatiently.
"God knows how much these students love to lie... They always blame Peeves for the blame. Do you know how Hogwarts punished students who lied in the Middle Ages? You will be locked up in the dungeon and receive the most cruel punishment..."
Filch looked excited when he talked about the punishment of students, and a terrifying light shone in his eyes with wrinkles around the edges.
"What are your names? I'm going to write down your names now, hehe... tell your dean and let him punish you severely."
"My name is Draco Malfoy."
Draco's voice came muffled from behind her.
Amanta looked back and saw that Draco had probably finally accepted the reality and was now getting up from the ground with a look of despair.
"Malfoy? This name seems familiar. Let me think... Is it Lucius Malfoy...? Yes... Could it be Mr. Malfoy, the school's chairman?"
There was a tremor in Filch's hoarse voice.
"Yes, he is my father," Draco replied.
"Mr. Director... He was the most well-behaved one when he was a student. Oh, his son must be the same as him... I'm so sorry, I must have wronged you."
Filch forced a flattering smile from his sarcastic mouth.
"Lord Malfoy, I have always respected him. I hope you can say a few good words for me in front of him... hehe."
Filch exchanged pleasantries in a friendly manner for a long time, but when Draco showed an impatient look on his face, he wisely found an excuse to leave.
Amanta couldn't help but sigh in her heart.
The identity of school director is useful. Even Filch, the most difficult person to deal with, has to give him some courtesy.
Talking about the person you should never mess with.
If we were to rank the most difficult people in Hogwarts right now, the first would be Peeves, the second would definitely be Filch, and the third... would probably be Snape.
But considering Draco's current situation, they don't have time to look for the Room of Requirement.
Draco covered his face and followed Amanta with a look of despair, hurriedly heading to the cellar.
Bad luck usually happens in groups, so they soon ran into the third difficult person at the entrance of the cellar.
"My dear godson and Miss Merlin, have you jumped into the dye vat and taken a bath?"
This deep and gorgeous voice belongs exclusively to Severus Snape.
With the buffs fully stacked, Amanta couldn't help but begin to doubt her fortune for the day.
Amanta and Draco turned stiffly.
Snape waved his wand in disgust and cast a Descaling Charm, and the ink on Draco's body disappeared without a trace.
"Miss Merlin, I wish you could put your brain to work and learn a few spells like you did in your speech, instead of walking around outside with me, your godson who looks like a slug has eaten his brain, and humiliating yourself."
"You're right."
Amanta bowed her head modestly.
Draco's mood had returned to normal along with his school uniform: "Godfather, I'm sorry."
Perhaps it was because their attitude of admitting their mistakes was too good that Snape, who had been gloomy for a long time, felt a little uncomfortable.
"...Anyway, don't let me see you guys being as simple-minded as Gryffindor next time."
After getting assurances from the two, Snape turned around, lifted up his billowing robes, and walked towards his office.
……
While lunching at the long table, Harry heard about the series of bad luck that had befallen the two men.
Harry wanted to laugh but didn't dare to. "Oh my god, this is too bad. Fortunately, I didn't go with you."
Draco was still terrified: "I'm going to ask my father to kick Peeves out of Hogwarts!"
Harry frowned at him: "This must be retribution. Who made you always complain that I eat too much?"
"There are Charms and Herbology in the afternoon. Well, there is no class tonight." Amanta picked up the schedule and read it. "There is Defense Against the Dark Arts class tomorrow. I am quite interested."
"I'm more interested in the Dark Arts than Defense Against the Dark Arts," Draco said.
Harry frowned, which made him uncomfortable.
"My parents were killed by dark magic, so... I think I will never touch dark magic."
