Harry Potter: Glory Bows to Me

Chapter 9: A Trio of People After Meeting Harry

At Madam Malkin's signal, Amanta and Draco each stood on a footstool.

Madam Malkin had just put on a black robe for each of them when several measuring tapes quickly floated over and measured their sizes automatically and flexibly.

"My dear, you guys try first, I'll go and greet other customers."

Madam Malkin smiled and squeezed out from between the clothes racks, leaving the two people wrapped in measuring tapes.

The ruler for measuring clothes is obviously a little naughty and does not match its job.

It first jumped onto their shoulders, then stretched down to their feet, flicked them mischievously, and then rolled up their sleeves and robes.

"Damn it!"

Draco was obviously annoyed by the ruler jumping up and down. He slapped the measuring tape impatiently, and the ruler raised one end in dissatisfaction and hit his thigh hard.

"Ouch!"

Draco cried out in pain.

"..."Amanta almost couldn't hold it in. If father Lucius appeared here now and saw his son in this state, he would probably be so angry that his nose would be crooked.

"…Excuse me, I want to try it here…Wait, Amanta?"

A somewhat immature voice asked stiffly, and then the tone suddenly became joyful.

Hearing this familiar voice, Amanta turned around and saw a boy with messy black hair and a pair of broken glasses peeking his head through the gap between the clothes hangers.

"Harry! Why are you here?!"

Amanta acted surprised.

"Oh...it's a long story. Uncle Vernon didn't let me go out during those days..."

Harry briefly recounted to Amanda what had happened in the past few days, and at the end he emphasized to her: "It's a pity that you didn't see the scene where Dudley grew a pig's tail. That pig's tail suits him so well."

Amanta raised her eyebrows regretfully.

"That's a shame. Where's Hagrid? Didn't he send you here?"

"Hagrid didn't look very well when we came out of Gringotts just now. He said he wanted to go to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink first."

The two people were talking so excitedly that they almost forgot there was a background board next to them.

Draco had already taken the measurements, jumped off the footstool and crossed his arms, looking at Amanta's increasingly gloomy expression.

Amanta took a glance and saw that Draco's face was gloomy and uncertain, and suddenly thought that this was probably the first time in Master Draco's life that he felt ignored.

Draco's mood cannot be allowed to deteriorate any further! Don't forget her purpose today!

She rolled her eyes and quickly reached out to grab Draco's arm, pulling him in front of Harry.

"Harry, this is Draco Malfoy. Draco, this is Harry Potter."

"Harry Potter?"

As Amanta expected, Draco's eyes widened when he heard the name.

Harry gave Draco a gentle, friendly smile.

"Are you a friend of Amanta's? Hello, Draco."

Harry said as he held out his hand to Draco, who held out his hand and shook it, his face quickly changing into a professional smirk.

"Hello Harry, nice to meet you."

Harry couldn't help but shiver. Obviously, with his current knowledge, he still didn't quite understand why a person could change his expression faster than turning the pages of a book.

Amanta stood aside and watched with great satisfaction.

At least for now, Harry and Draco have had some initial friendly interactions, well... although it may be because of her face and Harry Potter's fame.

However, there has been no conflict between the two people so far, which is a good start.

She patted their shoulders with satisfaction.

"Everything is measured now, shall we go buy some more? Will Harry join us?"

"That's great, but I guess I need to tell Hagrid first... Hey! I'm here!"

A man with unkempt hair and beard, almost as tall as two men, stood outside the window, holding two huge chocolate raspberry nut ice creams in his hands and grinning at Harry.

The obvious features made Amanta know without hesitation that this person was Hagrid, the gamekeeper of Hogwarts, who was also a half-giant.

Harry took Amanta and Draco out of Madam Malkin's robe shop quickly.

"Little Harry! You've made so many new friends in just a short while?"

Hagrid handed Harry an oversized ice cream and grinned as he glanced at Draco and Amanta behind him.

"Oh that's too bad, you haven't bought your friend's share yet, Harry, wait here for me."

Before Harry could open his mouth, Hagrid happily rushed towards Florin Fusco's Ice Cream Shop again.

After a while, he walked towards them again, holding two extra-large ice creams.

"Harry, who are your friends? Can you introduce them to me?"

Amanta spoke first: "I am Amanta Merlin, thank you for taking care of Harry these two days."

"Amanta! You are the girl that Harry always talks about, not bad, not bad."

He turned to Draco who was standing next to him with a proud look on his face: "What about you? What's your name?"

Perhaps because of the large chocolate raspberry nut ice cream, Draco put on a fake smile and responded in an extremely official tone: "Draco Malfoy, thank you for your kindness."

Hearing Malfoy's words, Hagrid frowned slightly, but still smiled and said, "Hello, Draco."

"I'm Rubeus Hagrid, the keeper and keykeeper of the Hogwarts hunting grounds. You can just call me Hagrid."

"Boys and girls, it appears that you are all first-year students at Hogwarts?"

Amanta nodded, "Yes, like Harry, we are here to buy necessary school supplies."

Harry looked at Hagrid expectantly, "By the way, can I go to Diagon Alley with Amanta and the others?"

Hagrid looked at Amanta and seemed to think she was reliable. He wiped his hands that were stained with ice cream sauce on his body and looked towards the small bar at the entrance.

"Well, I won't disturb you kids. See you at the Leaky Cauldron later, Harry?"

Harry waved cheerfully to Hagrid.

"See you!"

Flourish and Blotts Bookstore is right next to Madam Malkin's robe shop.

The place is filled from floor to ceiling with hardcover books of all shapes and sizes, strangely packaged and covered with strange symbols.

After they told the clerk that they needed to buy textbooks for the first year at Hogwarts, he picked up a list and went into the densely packed rows of bookshelves, looking for the books one by one for them.

The waiting time was a bit boring. Harry looked around and stood in front of the bookshelf to read a book called "Curses and Counter-Curses".

Amanta thought he must be thinking about how to deal a prank on his cousin Dudley.

Draco took out a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages, found a seat and began to read it attentively.

Amanta stared at a wordless book in a trance.

"Which house do you think you will be assigned to?"

Draco suddenly spoke, and his grey eyes looked at the two of them over Quidditch Through the Ages.
