Naruto: We are invincible
Chapter 140 To untie the bell, one must tie it
"Damn it!" Nao cursed, turned and left the ninja school.
'I may be a ninja, but I have my morals,' she thought to herself, deciding to forgo the mission.
A few days later, Naruto and his companions arrived at the Sarutobi clan's territory in Konoha.
Although the Sarutobi clan has never deliberately pursued political status, they still play an important role in Konoha.
They are proficient in physical skills and fire and earth ninjutsu, and some members of the clan even surpass the Uchiha clan in fire ninjutsu.
As the third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen is a good example.
He experienced three Ninja World Wars and led Konoha to victory twice. He is proficient in both physical and ninjutsu, and his stick skills are unmatched.
Together with his summoning beast, the Monkey King, Sarutobi Hiruzen was given the title of "Ninja God" and was known as the strongest ninja of his generation.
Hiruzen's father, Sarutobi Sasuke, was also a ninja of extraordinary strength, rivaling legendary figures like Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha.
Hiruzen's two sons were also very powerful ninjas. His only son, Asuma Sarutobi, was an elite jonin of Konoha, an expert in wind-style ninjutsu, and was once one of the "Twelve Guardian Ninjas".
"Ding Dong"
The doorbell rang in the Sarutobi clan's territory. Except for Naruto and Hinata, the members of the Dragon Team were standing at the door. As the Hokage, Tsunade needed to know everything that happened in the village, so she was also here.
The door slowly opened, and a boy with short, spiky brown hair and black eyes walked in. He was wearing grey trousers and a light green jacket with a dark green stripe down the middle. He had his long blue scarf around his neck and a Konoha forehead guard on his forehead.
"Brother Naruto!" Sarutobi Konohamaru greeted excitedly.
"Who is this kid?" Tobirama pointed at Konohamaru and asked. Konohamaru snorted unhappily.
"He is Sarutobi Konohamaru, the grandson of Sarutobi Hiruzen." Naruto explained. Senju Hashirama bent down and looked at Konohamaru at eye level.
"He really looks like his grandfather," Hashirama said.
"Who are they?" Konohamaru asked, pointing at the masked man standing next to Naruto, Hinata and Tsunade.
"I'll tell you later." Naruto ruffled Konohamaru's hair. "We need to talk to your grandfather. Is he home?" Naruto asked, Konohamaru nodded and led them to one of the houses.
"It hasn't changed at all," Hashirama said, looking at Hiruzen's house. It had been decades since he last came here, and it looked exactly as he remembered.
"I've never seen you here before," Konohamaru said upon hearing Hashirama's comment.
"You weren't born yet at that time." Hashirama answered naturally.
Konohamaru shrugged and continued to lead them to Hiruzen's office.
Konohamaru knocked on the door and heard his grandfather's voice from inside.
He opened the door and saw Hiruzen smoking his pipe and drawing something. The window was open and he seemed to be drawing the scenery outside.
"Can we talk?" Tsunade asked, and Hiruzen heard the seriousness in her tone. He nodded, let Konohamaru go first, and closed the door.
Mito quickly set up a silencing barrier around the room to ensure that the conversation would not be leaked.
"So," Hiruzen exhaled a puff of smoke, "what do you want from me?" he asked, watching the members of the Dragon Clan take off their masks and sit on the ground.
"Where should I start?" Tsunade fell into deep thought, then turned to Hinata. "Why don't you start with the story of the Hidden Mist Village?" Tsunade asked, and Hinata nodded.
"A few weeks ago, we were assigned a mission to help the rebels in the Hidden Mist Village who were fighting against the bloodline's rule." Hinata began to narrate, Hiruzen was surprised that Tsunade would agree to such a mission, but he did not interrupt Hinata. "We won the war, but during this time I met an Uchiha." Hinata said, Hiruzen raised an eyebrow.
"You said you met an Uchiha?" Hiruzen asked, taking a deep breath and motioning for Hinata to continue.
"She said her name was Uchiha Nao and that she had the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. I won the battle but she used a jutsu to destroy the building we were fighting in and I didn't have time to catch her," Hinata explained.
"I remember her." Hiruzen sighed. "She was a good kid, as talented as Itachi. But Itachi was a genius and the clan leader's son, and she had always lived in his shadow. I could sense that she had a kind heart." Hiruzen explained.
"She is very strong. She can use Amaterasu, Susanoo, and she also has a kind of illusion that can completely freeze the opponent's chakra flow, making the opponent unable to move and can only be slaughtered." Hinata added.
"I understand, but I still don't understand what you want me to do." Hiruzen wanted to know what they wanted.
"Uchiha Nao should have died when Itachi massacred the Uchiha clan." Naruto said, causing Hiruzen to narrow his eyes. "Can you tell us something about the Uchiha genocide?" Naruto asked, staring closely at Hiruzen.
Hiruzen sighed and exhaled a small puff of smoke.
"Is that even necessary?" Hiruzen asked, putting his pipe back to his lips. "Itachi killed all of his clan members, leaving only his brother Sasuke alive," Hiruzen explained.
"Then how do you explain that there are two Uchiha alive besides Itachi and Sasuke?" Tsunade asked, narrowing her eyes at Hiruzen.
"Then I have no idea." Hiruzen answered simply.
"Why did Itachi want to keep Sasuke?" Naruto asked.
"Only Itachi can answer this question. Maybe he wants to wait for Sasuke to grow up and take his eyes." Hiruzen replied calmly.
"You're lying, old man." Naruto said with a smile. "I can feel your emotions. You feel guilty and regretful, which means you are not telling us the whole truth." Naruto replied, and everyone stared at the Third Hokage sharply.
"Just tell me what's going on?" said Hashirama.
"Okay." Hiruzen sighed. He never thought the truth would be revealed after all these years. "In fact, Itachi was the one who exterminated the Uchiha clan on my orders." Hiruzen answered and everyone looked at him in shock.
"What did you say?!" Tsunade yelled, and everyone was shocked.
"She gets angry easily. Judging from her personality, she is a genuine member of the Senju clan." Mito thought.
"Why would you do this, Hiruzen?" Hashirama asked incredulously. He had devoted his life to bringing the Senju and Uchiha clans together to build Konoha Village.
"I had no choice but to do this. Otherwise, a civil war would break out in Konoha." Hiruzen began to explain. "The Uchiha clan was plotting a coup. Once the coup happened, Konoha would be divided and weakened. Other countries would take advantage of the situation and completely defeat us. Finally, Itachi volunteered to carry out this mission, and I approved it." Hiruzen explained.
"You did well, Hiruzen," Tobirama said.
"How can you say that?!" Hashirama stood up suddenly and looked at Tobirama. "You have always been prejudiced against the Uchiha clan, but this is too much, even for you!" Hashirama replied angrily.
