Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 74 Holiday Time with Harry

"It's lunch time! Harry, would you like to try the specialties of the Leaky Cauldron?" Salina closed the thick ancient magic book with a cunning light in her eyes.

"Of course!" Harry put down the Monster Book of Monsters in his hand and answered excitedly, "Just don't be like Bibi's Every Flavour Beans, which has every flavour."

Sharina was amused by Harry's words. The two of them walked downstairs and found a place to sit down.

"Two servings of fish and chips, two glasses of pumpkin juice, thank you!" Salina waved to the waiter.

"Fish and chips? I thought you would order something weirder." Harry looked around curiously. The Leaky Cauldron was crowded with people, and there were all kinds of strange wizards that made him dazzled.

"Don't worry, Harry, this is not ordinary fish and chips." Salina blinked mysteriously, "You will know after you try it." Soon, two servings of fish and chips with tempting aroma were served on the table. Next to the golden and crispy fried fish, there were piles of golden fries, which looked no different from those in the Muggle world.

Harry picked up a French fry and put it in his mouth in confusion. The next second, his eyes widened like copper bells.

"This...these fries..." Harry was so surprised that he was speechless.

"How was it? Did it tap dance in your mouth?" Salina looked at Harry with a smile, her eyes full of cunning.

"It's magical." Harry exclaimed in disbelief. He felt as if there were countless elves jumping happily in his mouth. The taste of the French fries became unusually delicious, with a kind of wonderful magic.

After lunch, Salina suggested, "Harry, do you want to go to the movies?"

"Movies? I... I've never been to a cinema." Harry lowered his head embarrassedly.

"Then let's go and see it today. I heard that a very good movie was released recently." Salina held Harry's hand.

When Harry came to his senses, he found himself standing on a busy street, surrounded by towering buildings, flashing neon lights, and pedestrians coming and going.

Looking at the huge posters and flashing lights around him, Harry hesitated a little, but was quickly pulled into the screening room by Salina.

The movie started, and the images and sounds began to play on the huge screen. Harry was deeply attracted by everything in front of him. He seemed to have entered the world of the movie, sometimes nervous and sometimes laughing as the plot developed.

After leaving the cinema, Salina took Harry to taste the ice cream on the street.

The two walked side by side on the streets of London, the afterglow of the setting sun shining on them, making their shadows particularly slender.

"Serena," Harry suddenly stopped and turned to look at Serena. The golden sunset shone in his emerald green eyes, as if igniting the flickering sparks in them. "I am really happy today. Thank you."

Salina was stunned for a moment, then she smiled and ruffled Harry's hair, "Silly, what are you talking about? We are friends."

"Friends..." Harry repeated the word in a low voice. For some reason, his heartbeat suddenly accelerated, his cheeks became slightly hot, and a wonderful feeling he had never experienced before surged into his heart...

After saying goodbye to Harry, Salina went back to studying.

Her goal was to learn Occlumency before the end of the holiday, but she had made no progress on that so this was the time to work hard.

……

The heavy curtains blocked the afternoon sun, and Serena's room was dim. She sat at the desk, with a book on brain occlusion spread out on the table. The pages were yellowed, exuding an old smell, and were densely covered with all kinds of strange symbols and diagrams, as well as some spells that Serena had never seen before.

"It's so difficult." Salina scratched her hair irritably. Her long hair looked even more messy in the dim room.

She had spent a whole afternoon on this book, but the obscure theoretical knowledge was like a group of flying sniffs, running rampant in her mind, but she could not grasp the key points.

"Concentrate, Selina, concentrate..." She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and tried to put herself into a meditative state. However, those fragments of memory that she had deliberately forgotten seemed to be deliberately against her and flooded into her mind.

Salina suddenly opened her eyes and leaned weakly on the back of the chair, beads of sweat rolling down her forehead.

The sky outside the window gradually darkened, and the light in Salina's room became dimmer, making her already pale face look even more haggard.

"Dong dong dong..."

There was a sudden knock on the door, pulling Salina back from her chaotic thoughts.

"Ms. Salina, are you asleep?"

Donald's voice came from outside the door, with a hint of worry and concern.

Salina took a deep breath and tried to calm her chaotic emotions, then she stood up, walked to the door and opened it.

"What's wrong?" She tried her best to look normal, but there was still a hint of fatigue in her tone.

"What are you going to eat for dinner?" Donald's eyes fell on Salina's face. Noticing her pale complexion and dark circles under her eyes, he couldn't help but frowned. "Ms. Salina, are you okay? You don't look well."

"I'm fine. I might have been too tired from studying these days." Salina forced a smile, trying to dispel Donald's doubts. "For dinner, I want to eat pasta."

"I'll prepare it right away, but I think you still need to have a good rest, miss. Nothing can be accomplished overnight." Donald said with concern.

Salina smiled and nodded, "I understand. Thank you for your reminder, Donald. I'm going to take a nap next. Remember to call me when dinner is ready."

Then Salina stretched her body back to the room, lay down on the large bed and closed her eyes.

Salina had a dream. In the dream, she seemed to be in a sunny grassland, with the breeze blowing through the green grass, making a rustling sound. The sky was blue, and a few white clouds were floating leisurely. However, the beautiful scenery was fleeting. The sky was quickly covered by dark clouds, and the wind was howling and sweeping. The black fog was like a greedy beast, attacking her with its fangs and claws. Salina wanted to escape, but found that she could not move.

Just when Salina was about to be swallowed by the darkness, the symbols and spells on the ancient book suddenly appeared in her mind. The originally obscure words seemed to be injected with life and emitted a faint light. Salina began to chant the spell, and as she spoke, the black mist seemed to be blocked by an invisible force and could not get close to her at all.

"call--"

Salina suddenly woke up and sat up from the bed, her forehead covered with cold sweat. Outside the window, the silver moonlight fell into the room, adding a touch of light to the originally dim room.

"It turned out to be a dream..." Salina let out a long sigh, stroked her chest, and felt her heart beating violently.

The dream felt so real that Salina still had some lingering fears. But she also realized that this might be an opportunity, an opportunity for her to find the key to learning brain occlusion.

Salina got out of bed, walked to the desk, picked up the ancient book, and started reading it again. This time, the symbols and spells that had given her a headache seemed no longer so strange. Salina even felt a strange connection, as if the symbols and spells were alive, waving at her and trying to tell her something.

Salina took a deep breath, closed her eyes, recalled everything in her dream, and tried to chant the spells again. This time, she clearly felt a warm current flowing through her body, gathering in her mind, forming an invisible barrier.

Salina was delighted that she had successfully learned the brain-blocking technique.
