Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 75 Quidditch World Cup

Salina started getting ready early in the morning.

I made an appointment with Cedric to watch the World Quidditch Game today.

The morning sun shone through the light curtains onto Salina's bed. She stretched herself, as today was the day she and Cedric had an appointment to watch the World Quidditch Game.

After adjusting her clothes in front of the mirror, Salina nodded with satisfaction.

Breathing in the fresh air, Salina's mood became as bright as the sunny weather. She saw Cedric standing in the garden from a distance, the golden sunlight shining on him, making him look even more dazzling.

"Cedric!" Salina waved at him.

Cedric heard Serena's voice, turned around, and a warm smile appeared on his face. "You're here, Serena."

The two used the portkey in the garden - a faded blue scarf, and after a dizzying spin, they successfully arrived at the outskirts of the bustling Quidditch World Cup stadium.

Cedric enthusiastically introduced it to Salina, "Yes, this is a large stadium that can accommodate 100,000 people! Look over there, those wearing green clothes are the fans of the Irish team, they are famous for their enthusiasm and enthusiasm..."

Cedric talked incessantly, from the rules of Quidditch games to the historical origins of various famous teams. The details made Serena laugh and cry. She didn't expect that Cedric was actually a hidden Quidditch fanatic.

Led by Cedric, the two walked through the bustling crowd and finally found their seats. Before the game started, the entire stadium was already packed with people, deafening cheers and cheers, and the atmosphere was extremely warm.

Salina looked around curiously and saw huge team flags hanging in the stands. Fans wearing colorful jerseys with paint on their faces were waving wands and flags, cheering enthusiastically for their teams, just like sports fans in the Muggle world.

"The game is about to start!" Cedric said excitedly, handing Salina a pair of magic telescopes. "Take this, you can see more clearly."

Salina took the telescope and smiled, "Thank you, Cedric."

With a sharp whistle, the game officially kicked off!

Salina was dazzled by the exciting game. Cedric was like a dedicated commentator, explaining the rules and progress of the game to her and expressing his own opinions from time to time.

"Look, that Irish Seeker wearing the No. 10 jersey. His name is Adrian Lynch. He is the most promising new star this year..."

"Wow, that Bulgarian chaser is so amazing! He managed to dodge three defenders and score a goal!"

"Oh my god, that Bludger has gone crazy. It's actually flying towards the audience!"

The two discussed the game enthusiastically, smiling at each other from time to time, their eyes full of tacit understanding and happiness.

The Quidditch World Cup final was even more exciting than Salina had imagined. When it ended, the night had completely fallen, and only a few lights remained in the noisy stadium. After the game, the crowd flocked to the bonfire party arranged by the organizers.

Cedric obviously enjoyed this kind of activity. He pulled Serena through the crowd and handed her a glass of butter beer from time to time. The alcohol and the noisy atmosphere made Serena a little tipsy. She watched Cedric singing and dancing in the crowd and suddenly felt that this kind of excitement was also good.

But she soon regretted it. The drunken people gradually became more unbridled, the deafening music and the excited screams of the people almost overturned the entire camp, and Salina felt her head buzzing.

"Are you okay?" Cedric noticed Salina's discomfort, he turned his head and asked with concern.

"It's okay, Cedric." Salina forced a smile, "I just feel a little hot, and it's too noisy here. I want to go to a quieter place over there for a while."

"I'll go with you." Cedric said, naturally taking Salina's hand and leading her through the noisy crowd.

His hands were warm and dry, and Salina felt her heartbeat speed up uncontrollably. She wanted to pull her hand back, but Cedric held it tightly.

Cedric brought Salina to a small woods on the edge of the camp, far away from the crowd. Only a few dim magic lamps emitted a faint light. The ears finally became quiet, with only a few insects chirping.

"Much better, thank you, Cedric." Salina breathed a sigh of relief and gently pulled her hand away from Cedric's palm.

"Do you like quiet places?" Cedric asked. His voice was low and gentle, and it sounded particularly pleasant in the quiet night.

"Well, I like to be alone." Salina lowered her head and avoided Cedric's eyes.

The moonlight shines through the clouds, casting a silvery glow, adding a touch of romance to this already mysterious path. Cedric's tall figure casts a shadow beside Salina, and his breath, mixed with the scent of night grass and trees, lingers at the tip of Salina's nose.

Neither of them spoke, but the quiet atmosphere around them and Cedric's intentional or unintentional approach to her shoulder made Salina feel a little uncomfortable. Her heartbeat accelerated uncontrollably. Realizing her own gaffe, Salina stopped and planned to say goodbye to Cedric.

"Cedric, I..."

However, before she could speak, Cedric suddenly turned around, and his deep eyes in the moonlight stared at Salina tightly, making her breath stagnate. Cedric slowly approached and gently took Salina's hand again. Salina felt his warm body temperature in her palm.

"Salina," Cedric's voice was a little hoarse, "I..."

"Salina, I like you." Cedric's voice sounded in Salina's ears.

Before Salina could react, Cedric suddenly pulled her into his arms and hugged her tightly. Salina could even feel his strong heartbeat, beating her eardrums like a heavy drum, making her dizzy.

"You're drunk, Cedric..." Salina's voice was very soft.

Cedric didn't say anything, but just hugged her tighter. His lips slowly approached Salina's ear, and his warm breath sprayed behind her ear, making her tremble slightly.

"Don't move, let me hold you for a while, just a moment..." Cedric's voice was hoarse and restrained.

Salina was held rigidly in his arms, the moonlight stretched their shadows very long, as if they were connected as one, unable to distinguish one from the other...

……

After returning to the manor and taking a hot bath, Salina was not sleepy.

"call……"

Salina took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. She walked to the window and opened the curtains. The bright moonlight poured into the room, dispelling some of the heat.

She sat quietly in the rocking chair on the terrace, staring at the moon in the sky in a daze. Cedric's figure, his smile, his voice, and his deep eyes kept appearing in her mind...
