Hogwarts Lion Girl

Chapter 83 The Marauder’s Map

Salina blinked mysteriously and said, "Come with me, I know someone who can help." She took Harry's hand and walked towards the depths of the castle without saying anything. Before Harry could react, Salina pulled him through the bustling crowd and came to a remote corridor.

"Who is it?" Harry asked curiously.

Salina just smiled slyly and didn't answer him.

Then they stopped in front of a huge portrait of a fat woman who was talking to another noblewoman, totally unaware of Harry and Serena.

"Shh..." Salina motioned Harry to keep quiet, then cleared her throat and said to the portrait, "Excuse me, can you let us in?"

The lady in the portrait turned around impatiently and was about to curse, but when she saw Salina, she was stunned for a moment, then put on a flattering smile, "It turns out to be Miss Salina, of course, of course, please come in." After that, the portrait slowly moved, opened the wall behind it, revealing a secret passage.

Harry opened his mouth in surprise. It was the first time he knew there was a secret passage behind this portrait. He turned to look at Salina inquiringly, but found that Salina had already entered the secret passage, leaving only her back. Harry shook his head helplessly and had to bite the bullet and follow in.

There was a strange smell in the secret passage, like the smell of burnt cake mixed with low-quality ink. Harry covered his nose and stumbled after Salina. After walking for an unknown amount of time, he finally arrived in front of a wooden door.

"This is it." Salina said, pushing the wooden door open.

This was a messy room, with all kinds of strange things piled up in every corner of the room. In the middle of the room was a table, where two red-haired boys were busy, with smoke of various colors coming out of the bottles and jars in their hands, filling the room.

"Fred, George." Salina waved her hand and said.

The two boys looked up when they heard the sound. When they saw Salina and Harry behind her, a sly smile immediately appeared on their faces.

"Harry! How come you have time to come here?" Fred said with a smile, pushing the bottles and jars in his hands aside to make room.

"The third years can go to Hogsmeade today, why didn't you go?" George asked puzzledly.

Harry scratched his head awkwardly and said vaguely, "I, I wanted to go too, but..." He looked at Fred and George, "Professor McGonagall said that I can't go without the guardian's signature."

"Don't worry, Harry, you've found the right person." Fred said, taking out a roll of parchment from his arms, then took out his wand, pointed at the parchment, and said seriously: "I solemnly swear that I have done nothing good."

Dense lines suddenly appeared on the parchment, forming a complex map. Harry was surprised to find that this map depicted Hogwarts Castle and the surrounding terrain clearly, and even showed everyone in the castle.

"What is this?" Harry asked curiously.

"This is the Marauder's Map," George explained. "It shows everyone and everything in Hogwarts."

"With it, we can find a secret passage to Hogsmeade and go there secretly," Fred added, searching the map carefully.

"Found it!" George said excitedly, pointing to a corner on the map. "There's a secret passage here that leads directly to the back door of Honeydukes Candy Store!"

Harry looked at the winding secret passage on the map and couldn't help but hesitate. This was against school rules, what if he was caught?

"Don't worry, Harry," seemed to see Harry's hesitation, and Salina comforted him: "Remember your invisibility cloak? Take it with you. This secret passage is very hidden and will not be discovered."

"That's right, Harry. We often take this road. It's very safe." Fred patted Harry's shoulder and said with a sly smile, "Go ahead. If you set off now, you might be able to catch up with the main group at school."

"Oh, don't forget to say "Prank is over" after you use it." Fred said as he tapped the parchment lightly with his wand. Harry saw that the map on the parchment seemed to be swallowed by flames, fading quickly from the edge to the center. The various details shown on the map also disappeared as the flames went out. Finally, the parchment made a light "puff" sound and turned into a blank parchment again, emitting a faint smell of ink.

After Harry left, Salina didn't leave in a hurry. She looked at the latest props developed by Fred and George with interest.

George picked up a feather pen, winked at Salina, and waved it gently. A few pink bubbles popped out from the tip of the pen, carrying a sweet floral scent, floated in front of Salina, and danced happily in front of her eyes.

"Wow!" Salina looked at the pink bubbles in front of her. They floated lightly and exuded a faint rose fragrance. She couldn't help but stretch out her finger and gently poked one of the bubbles. Her fingertips touched the thin surface of the bubble, and there was a slight elastic force. Then, the bubble made a "pop" sound and turned into countless tiny water droplets, which fell on Salina's hand with a sweet scent. George looked at this scene and said with a smile: "This thing can also be adjusted to create bubbles of various shapes."

Fred shrugged and took out a small golden gadget from his pocket. It looked like a miniature salute. "But, compared to this, I want you to see my latest invention..."

Before he could finish his words, the "salute" in his hand suddenly spurted out a stream of colorful flashing ribbons, flying straight towards Salina, instantly wrapping her up into a glittering mummy.

"Oops! Sorry, it doesn't seem stable yet." Fred exclaimed and tried frantically to help pull the ribbon off Salina.

Seeing this, George hurried forward to help. He carefully untied the ribbon wrapped around Salina's hair, and his fingertips accidentally touched her soft hair and cheeks. A faint fragrance penetrated into his nose, which made his heart flutter.

When their eyes met, time seemed to stand still. Salina's clear eyes were reflecting his figure. George felt his heartbeat suddenly speed up, as if a little deer was bumping against his chest.

After cleaning up the ribbons on her body, Salina gently tucked a strand of hair that was scattered around her ear behind her ear and said goodbye to the two of them, "Then I won't disturb your research. I'm leaving first." She smiled and her eyes swept gently over George. Then Salina waved and turned away.

George followed Salina closely with his eyes, watching her walk through the corridor and disappear around the corner.

George could still feel the soft touch of her skin when his fingertips touched her cheek just now.

"What are you doing standing there? Don't expect me to clean it up by myself!" Fred's voice suddenly rang in his ears, accompanied by a slap on the back of his head.

"Ouch!" George covered the back of his head and turned around to glare at Fred unhappily, "Here it comes."
