Marvel crosses Star Wars, and everyone attacks the galaxy

Chapter 120 Falcon and Black Widow's Suspicion

"Any idea where the others might be?"

"If I knew, I would have told you long ago," said Black Widow, scrolling the galaxy map. "What we know now is that everyone's arrival is random, and fortunately for some of you, many of you have traveled to the planet Naboo."

"So any ideas on how to contact Earth?"

"I thought back to everything I learned from SHIELD, and nothing I had was strong enough to send a signal strong enough to contact Earth. Besides, we don't know how far away we are, as it could take years for the message to be received."

"Maybe we can talk to the engineers here and they might be able to help us."

"Do you have any idea?"

"From what some clone troopers have told me, the Galactic Republic's communications system spans most of the known galaxy and even into Separatist territory, with a few exceptions like the Outer Rim and Wild Space. Perhaps we could broadcast from those areas, get the message out all at once."

"What? And then pray that someone we know will receive it?"

"It's called casting a wide net to catch fish in a targeted way." Falcon shrugged. "We are in another galaxy. As far as we know, it is very far away from our own galaxy."

"If this worked, we would have noticed these flying things here long ago." Black Widow muttered to herself.

"So we're basically at a stalemate right now," Falcon grunted in frustration.

Black Widow just sighed in mild frustration, "More or less. So Steve told me you guys have been busy."

Falcon sighed: "It's a complicated journey."

"And these...clones." Black Widow didn't know what to think of them, so she hesitated and asked, "How are they?"

"That's all I can tell you, good soldier," Falcon said. "Most people are almost fearless and will rush into battle without hesitation."

"Where did they come from? Has this republic always had such an army?"

Falcon shook his head, "Natasha, from what some of our Jedi friends have told us, they were born and raised on this world called Kamino."

Black Widow frowned at Falcon's troubled expression.

"what happened?"

Falcon sighed, "When Steve, Scott, and I first arrived here, Rhodes joined us shortly afterward, and at that time we all tried to learn as much as we could about this system," Falcon elaborated, "Anything that might help us get home and better understand our situation. Then, Rhodes found some contradictory things in some of the information."

"For the past thousand years, this Republic has been without a decent army following the so-called Ruusan Reforms. The Republic Army of Light was essentially disbanded, replaced with the Ministry of Justice leading the charge. Everything else is just small armies from their respective worlds and star systems."

"A thousand years without an army?" Black Widow said in confusion. "That... feels incredible."

Falcon narrowed his eyes, "Yes, but, before the war began, the Supreme Chancellor called for the rebuilding of the Grand Army of the Republic. Less than a few days later, an army of mechanized troops appeared on another planet called Geonosis."

Black Widow frowned. "Did they know in advance, or..."

"They just appeared out of nowhere, and only a few people knew about it in advance." Falcon went on to explain, "Kenobi went to Kamino to investigate and found that the clone army was being trained, and no one knew about them before. Later, Yoda went to bring them back to reinforce the Jedi Knights who were trapped in dire straits on Geonosis, and so the Clone Wars began."

Now Natasha feels a little uneasy. As the Black Widow, she has spent most of her life serving the interests of the KGB, SHIELD, and the world at large. Her job is basically to know almost everything that can help better protect the world. The appearance of the clone army is too strange. Such a large army suddenly appeared when they were most needed? This is beyond suspicion.

"Has no one ever investigated this?"

Falcon shook his head, "Obviously not. They are all busy with this war."

Black Widow's mind was working at high speed, and she muttered to herself: "This is amazing. In less than a few days, we have already fallen into another conspiracy. These Sith guys in hiding, as well as these clones and their origins, feel like Hydra."

Falcon said: "The real question now is, what is after this war for them?"

Black Widow turned her head, "What do you mean?"

"Frankly speaking, clones were born for war, they have no other mission. What will they do once the war is over?"

"I understand what you mean, but to be honest, I don't know and I can't imagine."

The two were silent for a while.

Black Widow changed the subject, "We still need to find Wanda and Vision."

"Yeah, and there are two more guys now," Falcon said. "What did that Spider-boy call them? He said one of them was a blind lawyer named Murdock, and the other one, to be honest, I couldn't believe it, was the prince of Wakanda, T'Challa."

"Things are getting more interesting, a member of the royal family has joined the Avengers."

"Tony must really want that kid to join."

"Maybe, maybe not." Black Widow shrugged. "Playboy wouldn't do something like this for no reason."

"Yeah... But our mission load has doubled now." Falcon leaned on the table, which still displayed a holographic map of the Milky Way. "As far as we know, they could be in any corner of the Milky Way."
